About Us

How it all started

R’ Yitzchok Kaufman

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Spring Hill Times
I live with my family in Chestnut Ridge, New York.
During the year of 2020, throughout the Corona crisis, I started to realize the effect the news was having on me. I thought to myself, “There are so many good things happening to us. Hashem is showering us with so much good. Why aren’t we talking about them? Imagine the positive effect if all news was happy and good.”
So in March 2021 I decided that I’m going to publish the world’s first positive-news-only newspaper.
In order to preserve the sanctity of Shabbos and to make sure the wonderful message of the newspaper has full impact I decided not to put in any advertisements.
Fast forward two years later: The Spring Hill Times reaches, on a weekly basis, thousands of people through email and prints close to 4000 copies weekly! In addition, many schools all over the world print out copies for their students.
The demand for the newspaper is growing by leaps and bounds each and every week.
Almost no day goes by without me hearing from a reader how the paper has completely transformed his life!
Our goal is to reach every single Jewish home. With your help we will succeed!
