Daily Bitachon #1849

This story was called in all the way from Gateshead by a Mrs. Neuman, who had to go to a certain office to take care of very important paperwork. Every single time she had gone in the past, there were long lines with people pushing and arguments about whose turn it was. Also, the clerks were very unhelpful and unpleasant. She was really not looking forward to it. “Do I really want to do this again?” she thought. “It was so hard for me last time. It’s not my type to push and to shove and have to force my way in. But what should I do? This is everyone’s experience, and this has always been my experience in the past. Why should anything change this time?” Then she said, “One second. If I go with Teva, with Mother Nature, then I’ll probably have the same nastiness all over again. But I can go with Hashem! He’s running the world. He’s a Kol Yachol – He can do anything and everything! Hashem can make the office have no lines. Hashem can make the clerks smile at me, and take care of all my paperwork without any problems. I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem,” she decided. When Mrs. Neuman got to the office, she opened the door and could not believe her eyes! The place was empty! She thought she was in the wrong office! She asked the clerks just to make certain, and they smiled as they said in the friendliest way, “Sure, come right in. We’ll be so happy to help you.” Then they quickly took care of Mrs. Neuman’s paperwork, with the best service, better than ever!

Daily Bitachon #1848

This story was called in by my very, very choshuva talmid, R’ Simcha Elefant. He was going to spend Pesach at his parents’ house in Scranton and he arrived a few days before Yom Tov. Since he needed his suit to be tailored, he asked his parents, “Do you think the tailor will be able to get it done before Pesach?” “Probably not,” they answered honestly. “We know he’s backed up as it is, and he works very slowly. Your brother gave him a whole pile of stuff to fix, and he said it’s going to take him all week to get it done. Now, it’s only a few days before Pesach, so we don’t see it happening. Nothing doing.” R’ Simcha told himself, “It really does look impossible, but that’s only if I go with Teva – with the laws of nature. If I go with Emunah and Bitachon, it’s a different set of laws. It’s a different Shulchan Aruch. I’m going to have Bitachon that I’ll ask the tailor to fix my suit, and he’ll agree to do it on the spot, right then and there.” R’ Simcha took his suit, went to the shop, and showed it to the tailor. “When do you think you can have this ready?” he asked. “I’ll do it right now, on the spot,” the tailor answered, and he began working on it right away! R’ Simcha was delighted! What made this story even more incredible and amazing was that a few more people came in after R’ Simcha as the tailor was working on R’ Simcha’s suit. The tailor told them, “I’m sorry, it’s going to take at least a few days for me to get through all the sewing I still need to do. I can only do your alterations after I’m done with those other jobs.” With R’ Simcha, who was going with Emunah and Bitachon, he did the job right on the spot, with the best service, better than ever!

Daily Bitachon #1846

This story was called in by a Mrs. Raziel. She said that she has a three-year-old son and a five month- old baby girl, and the three-year-old was very, very jealous of the baby. He bothered the baby, hurt her, and did not let the baby breathe. That’s a mother’s worst nightmare to see her three-year-old on top of the baby every two seconds and to pull him off, over and over, to keep the baby safe. When she shared the problem with her niece, the niece replied, “I listen to the telephone hotline, A Life with Bitachon, and I keep hearing stories of the way Hashem is in charge of EVERYTHING, even emotions. I’ve used this concept with all different kinds people, and in all sorts of circumstances, and I’ve seen the most impossible situations turn around. What you need to do is speak as if you already see Hashem’s Yeshua. First daven, and ask Hashem to change your son’s emotions towards the baby. Then say, out loud, that you know the three-year-old is going to love the baby and they’re going to play together so nicely.” Mrs. Raziel started saying, “Wow, look! They’re the best of friends! They’re getting along so beautifully.” She did this even though it was totally not true. The next day, Mrs. Raziel woke to see her three-year-old playing a real game with the baby for the first time in his life! They were having such fun! She could not believe the power of her positive words! The whole atmosphere in her house changed, improving day by day until it was better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1847

Daily Bitachon #1845

This story was called in by a very, very choshuva yungerman by the name of Rabbi Deutch, who had a doctor’s appointment for one of his sons that Thursday. The day before the appointment, the doctor’s office called to say that for this appointment, the doctor really needed the hospital records of a medical procedure that the son had a couple years before. The father immediately called the hospital and said, “I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow, and the doctor wants medical records from a few years ago.” “The Medical Records Department is closed on Wednesdays,” they told him. He said it was very important, so they gave him a couple of ideas, which he tried, but nothing worked out. When he called back to ask for more ideas, they said, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” Rabbi Deutsch decided to go to the hospital in person, but when he got to the front desk, he got the same story. They said, “Oh, you want copies of medical records? Well, it’s in a different department in a different part of the hospital and it’s a long walk from here. But don’t bother going there anyway because today is Wednesday, and they’re closed on Wednesdays. You’ll have to come back tomorrow.” “Come back tomorrow!?” the father was thinking. “My son’s appointment is tomorrow! I really need the records today. I’ll just walk over to the Records Department and have Bitachon in my loving, caring, Father, HaKadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. I know Hashem can work everything out.” When he finally got to that department, he saw a big sign: We are closed on Wednesdays. First, he thought, “Oh, no! They really are closed! NOW what should I do??” Then he said to himself, “I don’t go with Teva! I’m not impressed with the laws of Nature! I go with Hashem, the Kol Yachol! Hashem is the One running the world, and He can do anything and everything! Hashem is the only One in charge! ” Suddenly, a man walked out of the Medical Records Department, and said, “How can I help you?” Rabbi Deutch said, “I need medical records from a procedure that my son had done at this hospital a couple of years ago.” “I’ll tell you the truth. We’re really closed today,” the man said. “ I just happened to come in today to get something. Well, once I’m here, I guess I can help you.” And in no time, he gave the father all the medical records and paperwork he needed, with the best service better than ever! Daily Bitachon #1844

This story was called in all the way from Beit Shemesh by Mrs. Wiener. She put up a load of laundry, and she only realized after the clothes went through the wash and dryer that her son’s very, very expensive MP3 player was in his pants pocket. Uh-oh. What does that mean? It’s going to be waterlogged. It’s going to be damaged from everything it just went through. She took it out, and she saw it had water inside it. She was thinking, “Uh-oh. My son is not going to be too happy about this. But what should I do now? It’s too late.” They tried to turn it on, but it didn’t go on. She turned to her son, and she said, “Do you know who’s in charge of making this MP3 work? You think it’s a button that you press? You think that because it’s waterlogged, it’s broken and it can’t work? It’s only our loving and caring Father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Rebono Shel Olam. He’s the Kol Yachol, let’s be Mechazik together.” They started singing, and when they finished, she turned to her son and said, “Now let’s try again.” And this time, it started working! Daily Bitachon #1843

This story has been called in all the way from Eretz Yisrael by a very chashuva yungerman by the name of Yaakov Eisner. He said he needed to pick up a package from the post office, but there wasn’t any post office right near where he lived, so he would have to travel very far to pick up the package. The way the post offices work is that it’s by appointment only, and if you arrive ten minutes after your scheduled appointment, then they cancel your appointment and you have to reschedule for a new appointment. R’ Eisner went on the bus together with his son to pick up the package. He turned to his son and said, “Look, there’s so much traffic. We’re never going to be able to make it on time.” When they finally arrived, they had already canceled his appointment. They said there’s nothing they could do for him other than schedule a new appointment. R’ Eisner saw that every few minutes another person walked in, another person, another person. The room was full. He turned to his son and said, “What should we do? Should we leave and have to do this another time? No. Let’s sing and play the song Hakol Yachol and realize it’s Hashem in charge and not the post office.” With that, we started being Mechazik and singing HaKol Yechol. And when they finished singing, they saw that the post office was empty. There’s nobody there. They went to the counter, and R’ Eisner said, “There’s no one around, can I pick my package?” They said, “sure, of course, our greatest pleasure.” And as they were getting the package, all of a sudden, they saw the post office becoming full again, one person after another. But they were already by the counter, and they gave them everything they needed, with the best service, better than ever. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1844

Daily Bitachon #1842

This story’s been called in all the way from Manchester, England by a very chashuva yungerman by the name of Avishai Berkowitz. He said over that one of his children wanted a specific type of game, but it was out of stock. It was nowhere to be found. But his son really wanted it. So he was thinking, “What should I do? If the stores don’t sell it, they’re out of stock, how should I get it? Should it fly in from the roof? Should it fly in from the sky?” But because he follows the principles of Living with Bitachon, he realized, that just because the stores were out of stock, Hashem’s the Kol Yachol, He can do everything and anything, and He can make it appear out of nowhere. Shortly after this, his sister arrived from Eretz Yisrael to visit the family, and what did she bring as a present? The exact game that his son wanted, with the best service, free of charge, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1843

Daily Bitachon #1841

This story’s been called in all the way from Golders Green by Mrs. Shiner. She went somewhere with her family, and it was already late at night. They were in the middle of no man’s land. When they went to the bus stop, they realized they already missed the last bus home, and there were no more buses arriving that night. They were trying to figure out, “What are we going to do now? How are we going to get home?” Then they said, “One second. Do you think it’s the buses that take us home? It’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Rebono Shel Olam. He’s the one that provides us the transportation that we need. And therefore, let’s just leave it up to Hakadosh Baruch Hu. He’s the Kol Yachol. He can do everything and anything. Ah, there’s no more buses running tonight. Ah, there’s no one around. But we don’t need anyone other than our loving, caring Father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Rebono Shel Olam.” As they were thinking all these thoughts, they looked up and they saw a bus that said, “Not in service.” The bus stopped, and the bus driver opened up his window and said, “Where do you need to go?” They told him. He said, “Sure, hop right into the bus, I’ll give you door-to-door service.” Everything went so smooth and easy, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1842
