He needed to get a passport for this baby so he could bring his whole family to America for Pesach. People told him, “it’s very late in the game. To get an appointment could take you 6-8 weeks. And finally when you bring in all your documents, they will tell you that you have a problem with this document and that document. And you’ll have to come again. Even then it’ll take so long for the passport to arrive. So don’t get your hopes up too high.” “Well,” he said, “I have to do my part and my hishtadlus.” And with that, he scheduled his appointment. When the day of his appointment came, he brought all his paperwork and they started going through it one by one.
