Daily Bitachon #1835

This story was called in by a very, very chashuva neighbor, by the name of Rabbi Binyomin Kaplan. He came over to me to tell the most gevaldig amazing bitachon story he just experienced firsthand. He saw the power of what it means to have, every day, a seder k’vuah, to learn about emunah and bitachon, how through that he was zoche to nissim geluim and yeshuos lema’ala miderech hatevah. And he said, going back six months ago, he got a polyp in his vocal cord, and it was affecting his voice. So he went to a specialist, and he asked what to do about it. And the specialist said, “I can give you some exercises. There’s a very slight, slim chance that it can get better on its own, but probably it won’t, and therefore you’re going to need a procedure.” The specialist said, “If you want, you can come back in four months’ time. We can reevaluate the situation, and we’ll see if it gets better or on its own.” Throughout the four months, he was doing the exercises that the specialist told him to do. He came back after four months, and the specialist looks, and he says, “Not only did the polyp not get smaller, but actually it even got bigger. And now I see there’s not even a chance in the world for it to get better on its own. The only way to get rid of it is you’re going to need a procedure. Schedule an appointment, and with that, we’re going to help you out.” So he scheduled an appointment for two weeks. Throughout those two weeks, he kept up his learning every day all about emunah and bitachon. He arrived at his appointment, and the specialist looked and said, “One second, I don’t see the polyp anymore. It just simply vanished and disappeared in thin air. I’ve never seen anything like this before!” Read more: Daily Bitachon #1836

This story was called in by Mishpachav Glieberman. She has a freezer in her basement that she uses for Pesach every year. The outlet next to the freezer, for the past 17 years, never worked. It was broken. They would use an extension cord and plug it in to a different outlet. Now they were using the freezer again. She turned to her children and said, “You know, every year, for the past 17 years, we always try, thinking that maybe this year it’s going to work. But it never, ever worked. Not for 17 years. So you might be wondering why this year should be different.” And she said, “You know why this year is going to be different? Because this year we’re going to plug it in with the power of bitachon. By believing Hashem is a HaKol Yachol. And He’s the only power and there’s no other power. It’s not the plug, it’s not the outlet, it’s only Hashem. Let’s all be Mechazik and sing “HaKol Yachol.” And this time, they tried again. They put the plug into the outlet, and it started working better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1835

This story’s been called in all the way from England by a very chashuva yungerman by the name of Avishai Berkowitz. He pledged to raise a certain amount of money for a certain mosad. And he knew that a certain g’vir would be able to give a lot of money that would help him reach his goal. He was trying to reach this g’vir, but he wasn’t answering his phone. People told him, “It’s going to be very, very hard to reach him. Do you know how many people are running after him?” So he stopped and he told himself, “One second, if it’s hard for me to reach him because everybody else is doing the same thing, then I’m just gonna have emunah and bitachon that Hashem will make it that he’ll come to me instead of me having to run after him. And with that, Hashem, I’m leaving it up to You. You’re the Kol Yachol, you can do everything and anything.” Shortly afterwards, he walked out of his house, and who did he see? That exact person. And he told him he pledged to raise a certain amount of money. The g’vir said, “Sure, I’ll give you whatever you need.” And in no time, he got every last penny. This story was called in all the way from London by a very chashuva yid by the name of Chaim Markowitz. He said that his friend by the name of David Guetter said, “I have to tell you the most amazing bitachon story I just experienced firsthand. I am a grocer, and I had to go to the market to buy grapes for my grocery. The way it works is, it’s first come, first served. If you get there earlier, you can get everything 1, 2, 3, right away. If you come late, you can walk away empty-handed. I really needed to go to the market early. That day I had to still do my seder kavuah, and I first wanted to learn. But I was thinking, what should I do? If I first learn, then when I come, there would be nothing left… Then I stopped and I said, “One second, who’s the one that gives me grapes up until now? Was it me? Am I taking care of myself? It’s my loving, caring Father Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam Who did it by Himself. So if Hakadosh Baruch Hu is the One Who’s always giving me grapes, He’ll will forever give me grapes.” So I decided to stay for my seder kavuah. When I got to the market, I realized that in all the different places that I usually to get grapes from, there were none left. But I kept on looking. All of a sudden, I saw someone who had pallets and pallets, humongous-sized pallets, 20-pound size of grapes, which was double more than the normal. I asked him: Can I buy these grapes? He said, “Sure, of course, my greatest pleasure.” I just arrived at that moment. And 1, 2, 3, I purchased all the grapes! As I was walking away, one of my friends came over to me and said, ‘Where did you get that from? I just came here 20 minutes ago. They said there was nothing left. And here, I see you’re walking away with all these piles of grapes!’ And I said, ‘Yes, just arrived at this very second.’” In no time, he received double what he needed, with the best service, better than ever! I’m just going to leave it up to the Ribono Shel Olam, Hakadosh Baruch Hu. A few minutes later, he sees his office door open and in walked his co-worker, holding a smoothie! The co-worker said, “I just wanted to treat you this morning, because you’re such a good worker, and I’m so happy to work with you. He was thinking, “It’s late at night, what’s the chances of finding a non-Jew at this hour in my neighborhood?” But then he said, “That’s with teva, with laws of nature. I’m going to go with bitachon and emunah that Hashem’s the Kol Yachol, and within six minutes, I’m going to find a Shabbos goy.” He was looking around, and within six minutes he saw a non-Jew. He asked, “Is there any chance that you’re able to come to my house? I need a favor done.” The non-Jew said, “I’ll tell you the truth. I’m happy to do it, but I charge money for my services.” Yoni Sharf said, “OK, I don’t think right now it’s nogaya. Sorry, have a nice day.” And off went the non-Jew. Then Yoni thought, “So, now what am I going to do? This time I’m going to go with emunah and bitachon that I’ll find someone in three minutes, but this time with bitachon I want him to be nice and friendly and do it free of charge.” He said, “Hashem, you’re a Kol Yachol, You can do everything and anything.” Within three minutes, all of a sudden, he sees a non-Jew walking in his direction, a nice friendly non-Jew who asked, “How can I help you,” with the best service, for free, better than ever.
