Bitachon Chulent

It was Leil Shabbos and Mrs. Langer* noticed that the cholent was going to get burned. She didn’t have any hot water from the tea kettle to pour in. How was she going to make her cholent more watery if she could not pour in water on shabbos? She said to herself, “I know! I heard on ‘A Life with Bitachon‘ about a boy who went somewhere for Shabbos. He told the host that it looks like the cholent would get burnt. The host said, “We believe that Hashem is the Kol Yachul. We can’t pour in water, but it doesn’t mean that Hashem doesn’t know how to do it.” The next day, the boy said, the cholent was watery! It didn’t make sense! The night before, it didn’t have a lot of water, and now it had even more water! Mars. Langer said to herself, ‘Hashem is the One in charge and He could make the cholent not burn.’ A Baruch Hashem, the same thing happened to her. The next day came and the cholent was watery! Hashem Helps Bochurim Go Upstate New York

The Ribbono Shel Olam is a Kol Yachol, and He gave us a Yeshuah!

Hi, I want to share a story that happened to me this past summer when I was in Eretz Yisroel with my siblings. Baruch Hashem we were able to go to Meron for a few days. Meron is on a very tall, big hill. We had a few heavy suitcases and we couldn’t travel up. We tried hitching for a half an hour and then tried to get a taxi, but it was very expensive. We strengthened ourselves in emunah and bitachon. We said that be’ezras Hashem, when the Ribbono Shel Olam sends a yeshua we will call the Spring Hill Times. Baruch Hashem, eventually a man pulled up and he had the exact amount of seats we needed. The trunk had the exact amount of space we needed for our suitcases. He brought us to where we needed to go. The Ribbono Shel Olam is a Kol Yachol, and He gave us a Yeshuah! Read more: Bitachon #174

One Never Loses Out by Doing the Right Thing!

It was Thursday night and R’ Moshe wanted to go to Flatbush to listen to Rabbi Reisman’s shiur. He has a big van and he had a parking spot. The way it works in New York, is that if you leave your parking spot, you don’t expect to get it back later. The Mishmar finishes at one in the morning, and to start looking for parking then is not so fun, especially with his large vehicle. But he said to himself that one never loses out by doing the right thing. He came back at 1 A.M. and that same exact spot, that he left a couple of hours before, was still there! Daily Bitachon #1738

Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  This story was called in by Mrs. Goldstein. Mrs. Goldstein said that she has an old refrigerator. It was looking like it was starting to go. It was giving her different issues and problems. She called the technician, and he said, “Yes, it means it’s time to get a new refrigerator. It’s not going to last too much longer in this condition.” One day, it stopped working completely. There was no noise, no sign of life; it simply was not working. So she thought, “Okay! It’s time to get a new refrigerator!” Then she stopped and she said, “One second. Who made the refrigerator work up until now? You think it’s because you plug it into the outlet and boom the refrigerator goes on? No! It’s because Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, is the one in charge of making refrigerators work. So if it’s Hashem in charge of making refrigerators work, you think for Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, it makes a difference if it’s new or if it’s old? You think it makes a difference if it’s on the go? For Hashem, it makes no difference any condition, any situation. I’m just going to take out the plug, and I’ll plug it back in with Emunah and Bitachon.” This time, she plugged it in with Hakol Yachol, realizing that it’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu who is in charge of making the refrigerator work. She said that once she is coming with Emunah and Bitachon, now she can rely that it is going to work better than it ever did, with no issues and no problems! She plugged it in and right away she heard noises! The refrigerator gave a sign of life! She said it’s already a month, and it’s working perfectly with no issues and no problems! Better than it was when it was going down the drain! It was working better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1739

Daily Bitachon #1737

Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  This story was called in by Mrs. Gold. Mrs. Gold said that she needed to make a doctor’s appointment for two of her children. She called the doctor’s office and asked if they had any appointments for that day. They said, “If you want, we can give you only one appointment.” She said, “I really need for both of my children.” They said, “If you want you can bring in one child today, and one child tomorrow, but there’s no way we can squeeze them both in today. It’s simply not shayach.” Mrs. Gold thought to herself, “I don’t really want to go on two different days. I want them to be at the same time! Isn’t that much easier? Who is in charge if they can take both of my children at the same time, or on two different days? I’m going to be mechazek that Hashem is Hakol Yachol, He can do anything. He can make it work out!” As she was speaking to the secretary, she said that they just got a phone call right now that someone canceled; right around the same time as the appointment for your child! The secretary said to Mrs. Gold, “If you want you can take that appointment as well, and you can have back-to-back appointments!” In no time, they had the best service! Bitachon – The Best GPS

I was taking my son to a doctor in a different town. I wasn’t 100 percent sure of the directions, and my GPS wasn’t connecting for some reason. We decided to start going and eventually we would figure it out. As we approached the exit where I wasn’t sure, I checked the GPS, but it was still stuck, saying no satellite reception. I said, “Hashem, You are the Kol Yachol. It’s not the GPS it’s You. Please do us a favor and get us there safely.” Practically as soon as I said the words, the GPS said, “Bear left to exit…” It continued to work the entire way until we got there. We thanked Hashem profusely for allowing us to get there and for answering our tefillos. Read more: Bitachon #167
