Daily Bitachon #1608

This story has been called in from Mishpachos Klein from Montreal. Her daughter went to work, and she called her up from work all frantic that one of the machines that she needed in order for her to do her job was not working. “I tried every last technique and trick and Hishtadlus. I restarted it. I pressed this button, I pressed that button. But the machine is not turning on; it’s lifeless. It seems like it’s kaput. I need a technician. Mommy, could you help me out? Is there any way we can call a technician?” She made some phone calls, and they said, “Sorry. Nothing doing before Shabbos. It’s going to take a couple of days.” She told her daughter, “I’m sorry, there’s nothing I can do to help you out.” Later on, all of a sudden, her daughter called back. She said, “Mommy, after I got off the phone with you, you know what I did? I said, ‘What would Mommy do in such a scenario?’ You would stop and be Mechazek that there is no machine that decides to work or not to work. It’s Hashem. He is a Kol Yachol. Hashem is the one doing everything from start to finish and everything in between. With that, I turned on a story from A Life with Bitachon to hear a Kol Yachol story, to be Mechazek me. The second I finished the story, I pressed the button on the machine, and it started working!” As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1609

We’re not going to be able to process it with this ID. Sorry, there’s nothing we can do for you.” Shloimie said to this non-Jewish man, “Don’t worry. This story has been called in by Mishpachas Lax. She said she had a relative who needed antibiotics at once, urgently, before they went to sleep. It was already towards evening and the doctor called the prescription in to a pharmacy. Mrs. Lax called the pharmacy, and she asked them until what time they were open, and they said, “We’re closing in 20 minutes: 7 o’clock on the dot, the doors are closed. Make sure to come before then.” She said, “Uh-oh, it’s going to take me more than 20 minutes to get to the pharmacy. What should I do? They said they close 7 o’clock on the dot. It’s a non-Jewish pharmacy, it’s a chain store. They don’t do you favors; it’s a business, after all.” Then she said, “One second, I’m just going to be Mechazek the whole way, that Hashem is HaKol Yachol and Hashem is running the show, and I’m just going to leave it up to HaKadosh Boruch Hu, the Ribbono Shel Olam.” She got into the car at once. She arrived at the pharmacy, and yes, it was later than 7 o’clock, and she saw them closing up. One of the people at the pharmacy said, “Sorry, we’re closed. Come back tomorrow!” She was thinking, “Hashem, You’re the Kol Yachol, You’re the one in charge.” Right then, a different worker said, “Don’t worry, maybe they’re closed. But I’m still open. I’ll take care of you.” The other worker said, “It’s not the way it works. 7 o’clock we’re closed, we’re finished. What do you mean you’re still open? 7 o’clock is 7 o’clock!” The other person said, “Well, I guess that’s not the way you work. But that’s the way I work! And I, for some reason, I’m not sure why, but I want to help this person.” And in no time, they helped her out, even though they were already closed! This story has been called in all the way from Eretz Israel by Mishpachas Rothstein. She said over that she gives Shiurim about Bitachon to many people. One of the people called her up with a question, “Did I hear you saying over and over that you could have Bitachon for whatever you want? Does that only apply for yourself? Or does it apply that you could also have Bitachon for whatever someone else wants?” She said, “Let me call a Life with Bitachon with this question and let’s see what the answer is.” She left a message and the response was, “Just like Bitachon helps you, you can have Bitachon for whoever you want. There’s no rules or regulations when it comes to Bitachon; Bitachon means Hashem wants to give you whatever you want. If you want it for yourself, that’s good, and if you want it for somebody else, it’s even better!” Mrs. Rothstein left another message, and she said, “I saw what you said first hand! Somebody called up that they were at the airport, and they lost their suitcase. It was nowhere to be found. They couldn’t even find the tracking number. There was no trace of it anywhere. She didn’t know what to do. She told Mrs. Rothstein, “I listen to your Shiurim on Bitachon, but right now I don’t have the Koach to have Bitachon. Are you able to have Bitachon for me?” I said, “Of course I’ll have Bitachon for you! You’re going to find your suitcase 1-2-3, right away, and we’re already picturing the Yeshua!” Later on that day, she got a phone call – “Wow, your Bitachon worked! After I finished speaking to you, the airline contacted me. Yes, they found my tracking number and my suitcase!” As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon 7

I have to make supper. I’m on my own.” Then she stopped in her tracks and said, “One second, I follow A Life with Bitachon. You think it’s my older children that are helping me out? It’s Hashem! And Hashem has many ways to help me out. I’m just going to have Emunah and Bitachon. I’m going to open my front door and see how HaKodesh BoruchHu is going to play everything out.” She went to the front door where all the boxes were, and she saw one of her neighbors, a girl, standing at her front door. Mrs. Fishel said, “How can I help you?” The girl said, “Well, that’s exactly what I wanted to ask you. How can I help you? I’m not in camp and I’m looking for a night activity. I want to do whatever you want from me. I’ll unload all your boxes and put everything where it has to go, and I’ll make all your little kids happy at the same time.” In no time, just like that, with the snap of a finger, she brought in all the boxes, unloaded everything, and turned it into activity with all the little children. He said that he traveled from Afula to Migdal Ha’Emek to buy a very big and heavy item. As they were schlepping it up, they realized and noticed that the bus was already at the bus stop, and it would be leaving any second. It was still going to take them a couple of minutes to get to the top. It was boiling hot and they were shvitzing. They were really getting tired and kvetchy. His family said, “Oh, what’s going to be? The bus is leaving. The next bus going from Migdal Ha’Emek to Afula is in another half hour. There’s no way we can wait that long.” He said to his family, “You think that it’s the bus that gets us places, and therefore you’re worried? Really, it’s our loving caring Father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam that gets us places. Therefore, when we arrive at the top of the hill, HaKadosh Boruch Hu will give us a ride, special for us! His children said, “Tatty, yeah? We’ll see a surprise, what Hashem sends us.” They got to the top of the hill, with that heavy big package, boiling hot and shvitzy. They wanted to get home already. All of a sudden, a car stopped, rolled down the window, and said, “Today I’m interested in doing a Mitzvah. Is there any place that I could bring you?” They said, “Well, we’re going to Afula, which is a half-hour away from here.” “So what’s the problem? This story has been called in all the way from Eretz Yisrael by a very Choshuve Yungerman by the name of Shmuel Sholom Greenberg who lives in Afula. It was Erev Shabbos, and he had to go to Beitar for Shabbos. He said that from Afula to Beitar it’s over a three hour bus ride. When he went to his local bus stop right in front of his house, the bus that was supposed to take him to his destination just flew right by. It was a fully loaded and packed bus. The bus driver didn’t even stop, and that was the last bus going before Shabbos. He was at the bus stop with his family, trying to figure out how in the world were they going to get to Beitar for Shabbos. The last bus had already arrived and left. He made some inquiries, and he saw that there was one more bus leaving from Bayit VeGan, which was about two hours away from his house. If he went to Bayit VeGan right away, he could make that bus from Bayit VeGan to Beitar. “But how in the world are we going to get to Bayit Vegan right now? We have to leave at once to be able to catch the bus. We can’t wait a second. But… how are we going to get there?” Then he said, “One second, who’s running this world? You think it’s the bus company? You think it’s the bus drivers? It’s HaKadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribbono Shel Olam. He is HaKol Yachol. He can do everything and anything.” Right then, a different bus stopped by the bus stop. A Yerushalmi Yid got off the bus and asked him, “Do you need a ride anywhere? Could I bring you somewhere?” He said, “Well, we’re going to Bayit VeGan. It’s around two hours away from here.” He said, “Sure, I have a car right down the block, and I have room for you and your whole family. I’ll take you, door to door service.” Within two minutes of saying, “Hashem, it’s You!” they got a free ride, door to door! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon 2
