R’ Yisroel Meir was married for some time, and he had just moved into a new apartment. He received most of his furniture, but his dining room table had not arrived. Every week on Shabbos, he would have to drag his kitchen table into the dining room, and it was annoying and hard. He and his wife called up the furniture store and they said the table would not come for another three months. Three months was a long time, and they didn’t want to wait so long. They decided to have Bitachon and truly believe that Hashem can send the table any day. The next day, there was a knock at his door and yes! A Yid recounted how a few weeks ago his wife lost her job and he had lots of expenses and debts. He had no one to turn to and didn’t see any way money could come b’derech hateva. Mrs. Baum* had a dentist appointment for her child. When they got to the dentist, they could not find parking. Mrs. Baum* kept circling around and around for a half hour but they could not find a spot. She was scared her child was going to miss the appointment. She called up her mother in desperation and asked her if she had an idea to help her. Her mother said, “I know! I have Kuntres Beis Halevi. Mrs. Fromowitz* was looking for a cleaning lady for a while and she was not able to find one. It got to a point where she was so desperate, that she said that she would agree to any day of the week and any time, but still nothing came up. So she asked Hashem to please help her find a cleaning lady so that she should be able to have Menuchas Hanefesh. She was mechazek herself in Bitachon.
