A couple of weeks ago, R’ Shmuel Braunstein’s* air conditioning broke down. He called a repariman to fix it. When the repairman finished, he said that he wasn’t taking money for it. The fixing was done as favor.Two weeks later, R’ Shmuel wanted to return the favor, so he bought a chocolate and brought it to the repairman’s home. When the repairman saw the chocolate, he was amazed. He told R’ Shmuel that his wife just went through a difficult surgery and that she was craving a chocolate at that very moment! Yeshiva Bochur Cares For His Friend

Avromi Gross* learns in a yeshiva in Lakewood, New Jersey.* One day, he noticed that a different bochur in the yeshiva was going through a hard time. Avromi went over to the Rosh Yeshiva and asked him what he could do to help the bochur. The Rosh Yeshiva told him, “”Go over to him and make a chavrusa shaft to review the shiurim.”” Avromi was uncomfortable doing this but he did it anyway! P.S.
