Mrs. Green from Jackson, New Jersey was driving her car. The control screen of the car was malfunctioning. It was going on and off for a half hour. She said “Hashem, you’re the only one in control. You’re the Kol Yachol. You can make it work.” And then, the screen started working! She could not believe her eyes!
Mrs. Grossman* was listening to a story on ‘A Life with Bitachon‘ about a yid by the name of R’ Eli Lowinger who had lost his wallet a few months previously and had looked all over for months and had given up. He really needed it, because his wife was about to have a baby, and he needed the ID. He reminded himself of a previous occasion when Hashem had helped him find his wallet after losing it in an non-Jewish store. He said, “Hashem can do anything!” The moment he said that, he got a call from someone who said he found his wallet in a shtender in the Bais Medrash three months previously and just never had the chance to give it back! So after hearing this story, Mrs. Grossman said to herself, “Oh! I was also me’yayesh on a couple things I lost – all I need to do is have bitachon? Mrs. Levi from Beit Shemesh had a big bill to pay and no money in sight. She didn’t know what she was going to do. She said, “Hashem has helped me in many ways in the past when I had no idea what I would do. Hashem will always help.” She was passing by the sefarim shrank and saw an envelope full of cash. She had no idea how it got there or where it came from. Her husband also had no idea. Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline. This story was called in by Mrs. Schlesinger. She had to make a flight overseas with her family. The flight was taking off at 5:20, and the boarding gate would close 15 minutes beforehand, at 5:05. They were running very late, and they saw that they were never going to make it. Her husband said that he thinks they are going to have to get the next flight and that they’ll have to wait around. Mrs. Schlesinger said, “No! Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, is Hakol Yachol. He can do everything and anything! Therefore, even though we’re going to make it there after they close the gate, Hashem can do everything and anything!” With that, they arrived shortly before 5:20. When they came, the security guard said, “Sorry, we already closed the gate! Nothing doing! You’re not going to be able to make this flight, you have to wait for a different flight!” Mrs. Schlesinger was thinking to herself, “Who is in charge?” She started singing to herself, “Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol���” She said, “When you go with Emunah and Bitachon, it’s a different set of laws! It’s a different shulchan aruch! It doesn’t make a difference when you arrive!” While she was thinking these thoughts, all of a sudden, she saw that the pilot came out of the plane and told the security guard, “Please let that couple on.” The security guard said, “I’m so sorry, absolutely not. They came too late, we already closed the gate!” The pilot said, “Well, I checked, and it says you’re only allowed to close it 15 minutes before take-off. I checked my watch, and you closed it 16 minutes before! One minute early! Reb Moshe messed up on something and received a lot of criticism for it. He was yelled at and screamed at. The entire time he was chazering to himself the yesodos of A Life with Bitachon; that it’s soap and shampoo, and that it’s saving him from accidents and gehenom. Mr. Berger from Chicago, Illinois works in an office. On Erev Shabbos Parshas Mikeitz, his boss came over to him and asked him to do a different job. Mr. Berger was really not interested in doing it; it was too much for him, but he didn’t say anything. He thought to himself, ”Ein Od Milvado.” The entire time over Shabbos and Sunday he did not think about it, and he wasn’t worried. He knew that Hashem would take care of it for him. On Monday he went to work, and his boss came over to him. He said to him, “You know that idea that I had on Friday? Miriam* from Tzfas called in and said that since she’s been following A Life with Bitachon, she doesn’t stop having stories. For example, she was at Meron and she missed the last bus back to her house. She was trying to figure out what she could do. Suddenly, her friend passed by! She said she never sees that friend anywhere. Another time she went on a bus and her bus card wasn’t working, so someone lent her five shekel. The person said that the next time they meet, she can pay her back. She had no idea who that person was since it was the first time she ever saw her. Miriam was worried about gilgulim and having to come back into this world to pay back her debt. Later on that day, she saw that lady for a second time passing by, so she was able to pay her back! Yisrael, a bachur who learns in BMG, goes to eat once a week at his grandparents home who live in Lakewood. When he comes, they give him money for the week. One week he wasn’t able to go, and he wanted the money to buy something. He was wondering what would be. Then he thought, “You think my grandmother takes care of me? It’s Hashem!” Later that day, a relative who had come from out of town told him he was stopping by and he wanted to come visit him. He came over and gave him money! Read more: Bitachon #276
Yaakov Friedman tripped while he was walking and he got a bruise on his foot. He started thinking through all the related chassadim, that he Baruch Hashem had feet, Baruch Hashem his hands weren’t hurting, Baruch Hashem he didn’t hurt his face…. He realized that if you focus on all the chassadim in the story, it’s a million times more than what just happened – that he fell and hurt himself. Mrs. Fisher* had a child who wanted a certain toy, but she wasn’t able to get it at that time. She told her child, “Remember, we heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon,’ and we saw printed in the Spring Hill Times, that just because I can’t get it for you, doesn’t mean that Hashem can’t.” Shortly after, her neighbor came over with that toy and said, “You can have it, we got an extra one!” Read more: Bitachon #272
“Shimmi a boy from Florida told his father, “I never win the raffle at Avos Ubanim.” So, his father told him, “Just have bitachon and say, “Hashem You are the One in charge of who will win.” They pulled out the ticket and he won! Mrs. Schwartz from Lakewood, New Jersey, was in her car with her whole family and the car wasn’t starting. She kept on trying and trying and it wasn’t budging. She said to her kids, “Maybe we need Chaveirim.” Her kids told her, “Mommy! We don’t need Chaveirim.
