Tzvi Tesser, a very choshuve yungerman, said over that he was on his way home after first seder, and he called up his wife to ask how she was feeling. She said that she was feeling a little bit under the weather. He told her to make sure to take a nap. She said, “How can I do that? I have to cook supper for the family.” He replied, “Your job is to take care of yourself. Hakadosh Baruch Hu will take care of the family. The same Hashem that provided us with food up until now, will be the same Hashem that will provide us supper. From where, from when, from how? I don’t have to figure out the calculations. I just have to leave it up to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. He’s Hakol Yachol; He can do everything and anything!” A few minutes later, his wife called him back and said, “You won’t believe what just happened! Right when I hung up the phone after we spoke, all of a sudden a family member called me and said that they would like to sponsor supper for our family tonight! They said, “Here is my credit card, order from wherever you like!” Just like that, they got a free supper delivered to his door, with the best service, better than ever! On top of that, right afterwards, his Rosh Chaburah said “Oh! I forgot to give you something for Chanukah! I would like to give you a gift card to any restaurant that you would like, and you could treat your family out for a free supper!” In no time, because of his Bitachon, not only did he get one free supper, he got TWO!” As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Tzvi Tesser said that whenever he travels and he’s on the phone and passes by a certain spot, there is such poor service that without fail his phone just hangs up on him. He always has to wait for a minute or two and then call back. One day, he was passing by that spot, and he was listening to a story on a Life with Bitachon. He was smack in the middle of the story! He wanted to hear the ending. He thought to himself, “I don’t want my phone to shut off like it shuts off every other time!” Then he said, “One second, that’s if you go with teva, that there’s such a thing as poor service, good spots and bad spots. Then he told himself, “Look! It has nothing to do with a spot! It has to do only with Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! From now on, whenever I pass this spot, I’m going to believe that it’s not the spot that’s in charge of my service.
