Daily Bitachon #1864

This story was called in all the way from Tzfas by Mrs. Benjamin. She was walking with her six-year-old granddaughter, Esti,* and they were passing by a store. Esti* said, “Bubby, I really would like a tape dispenser. Can we get it from this store?” Mrs. Benjamin said, “Sure, but I don’t even know if this store carries it. We can go in and check.” They looked where they sell all their tape, but there was no tape dispenser. They looked high and low, all around, all over. They looked here and there, but it was nowhere to be found. Mrs. Benjamin turned to her granddaughter and said, “Shefala, sorry. They don’t have it over here. They don’t carry it. We have to look somewhere else.” Then she said, “Let’s start singing to Hakadosh Baruch Hu. “Hakol Yachol…. Hakol Yachol….” Esti said, “Look! I just found it. It was all the way in the back of a couple boxes.” And with that, they walked out with their tape dispenser, with the best service, better than ever!

Daily Bitachon #1863

This story’s been called in by a very, very chashuva yungerman by the name of R’ Binyamin Prater. Not too long ago, he had a baby. Many times, his baby was cranky. He thought to himself, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if I would have a rocking chair to sit on. I’d be able to rock back and forth to calm down my baby?’ Then he thought, ‘Do we really want to spend money on it? Is it really worth it? Is it so important? It would be nice, but it’s really an extra. Later on that day, someone sent him a message that they were looking to give away a rocking chair, free of charge. It was used, but it was still in very good condition. First come, first serve. He called up, and he said, “Is it still available? Can I come pick it up?” They said, “sure, of course, no problem.” He said, “Okay, I’m coming at once, I’m coming right away.” As he was on the way, they called him back and they said, “Oh, I’m so sorry to tell you, but it was already taken.” He turned to go back home, and he said, “It’s already taken? That’s if they’re in charge, it’s already taken. But if Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Rebono Shel Olam is in charge, then He can give me not only another rocking chair, but even a bigger and better one. I don’t need them to give it to me, I need Hashem to give it to me.” The next day, he got a phone call from the same person, and he said, “Yesterday you called us up that you wanted a rocking chair. That didn’t work out because somebody else took it. But, I was just schmoozing with my friend, and I told him what happened, and my friend said, ‘Oh, I have a brand new rocking chair that I don’t even need, and I’m looking to get rid of. Have that person come and pick it up from me. It’s on my porch, brand new in its box.’” In no time, R’ Prater was able to get a brand new rocking chair, free of charge, with the best service, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1864

Daily Bitachon #1862

This story was called in by Miri* Rosenfeld. She went with a group of her friends to a random park to study for a test. After they were there for a while, they needed a ride back. They called different people, fathers, mothers, relatives, but nobody was able to pick them up. They thought, “Oh, what should we do? We’re in this random park. Nobody else is here. It’s getting late. Nobody’s able to pick us up. We’re far away. What are we going to do?” Then they said, “One second, Hakadosh Baruch Hu is the one in charge. Let’s all be mechazeik.” They sang “Hakol Yachol.” Suddenly, they saw a bus. It was one of their neighbors, a frum yid who is a teacher and drives a bus in their neighborhood. He asked them, “Do you need a ride anywhere?” Miri said, “Yes!” He said, “I just finished my route, and I came to this park just for two minutes, just to breathe, just to air out. I’m going right back home. If you want, I can give you door-to-door service, free of charge!”

Daily Bitachon #1869

This story was called in by a Mrs. Mizrachi. She said she was looking all over for her phone. It was very, very important that she find it by the next day as she didn’t know how she would manage without it. She spent a long time checking every place she could think of, combing the whole area, and turning everything upside down, but it was nowhere to be found. Then she had a thought: “Who’s in charge of finding my phone? You think it’s my eyes? No, it’s my loving, caring Father, HaKadosh Boruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. Hashem is a Kol Yachol who can do anything and everything. He knows exactly where my phone is. I’m accepting upon myself not do any more hishtadlus – I’m not looking for my phone anymore. I’m leaving it up to Hashem to put it right into my hands. Where, when, and how, I have no idea, but I’m going to trust in Hashem.” Later that day, she saw a bookshelf that needed straightening. As she was putting the books back in order, what fell into her hands? Her phone! It was somehow stuck between two books! She had no idea why it was there in the first place or who had put it there, but Hashem gave her the best delivery service, right into her hands!

Daily Bitachon #1868

This story was called in all the way from Tzfas by Mrs. Benjamin. Her oven isn’t connected to a gas line; it runs on tanks of gas which are delivered by a gas tank company. One Thursday she ran out of gas, and needed a new tank delivered immediately so that she could cook for Shabbos. She called the company, and asked, “Is there any way that you can make sure I get it by tomorrow? I need to start cooking for Shabbos.” “I’m sorry,” they said. “Nothing doing. If you want, you can pay an extra 60 shekels for expedited delivery, but even then, it won’t come before next week. There’s nothing we can do for you.” And they hung up the phone. Mrs. Benjamin thought, “They said there’s nothing they can do for me. But I really need gas right now, so how am I going to work this out?” Then she stopped, and said to herself, “Wait, who’s in charge of when the gas should come? You think it’s up to the company? It’s up to Hashem. Does Hashem need me to pay extra for speedy delivery service? HaKadosh Boruch Hu can do it for free. He’s a Kol Yachol; He can do anything and everything.” She turned to Hashem and said, “Hashem, I’m not paying one extra shekel for delivery. I’m just going straight to You.” Friday morning, there was knock on her door, and there was her order – all the gas that she needed to cook for Shabbos, with the best service, better than ever!

Daily Bitachon #1867

This story was called in by a very, very choshuva yungerman by the name of R’ Yehoshua Wax. He had applied to a sleep-away camp for one of his children and was told that in order for them to reserve a slot, he had to pay the entire camp tuition up front, $2,000. “They want ALL the money right now?” he thought. “Where am I going to come up with an extra $2,000 out of the blue? They aren’t even letting me pay in installments. What should I do?” Then he said, “One second, who’s in charge of paying my bills anyway? It’s my loving, caring Father, HaKadosh Boruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. He has all the money in the world. He’s a Kol Yachol; He can do anything and everything. I’m going to throw this bill up to HaKadosh Boruch Hu.” Shortly afterwards, the phone rang, and one of his relatives called. “I was thinking of sponsoring one of your kids’ camps. Do you have a child who wants to go to camp?” “Yes, I do; I actually applied to a camp for one of my kids,” R’ Yehoshua answered. “But do you know how expensive it is? They want $2,000 up front.” “Well, here it is,” said his relative. “It’s coming your way.” And in no time, a slot was reserved for R’ Yehoshua’s child by this relative – who was sent by R’ Yehoshua’s loving caring Father, the Ribono Shel Olam!

Daily Bitachon #1866

This story was called in by a very, very choshuva yungerman, Rabbi Gross. He had an eye doctor’s appointment for his son and the office was about an hour’s drive away. They set out early enough, but then they ran into very heavy bumper-tobumper traffic. The clock was ticking, the traffic wasn’t moving, and saw they would never make it on time. They called the doctor’s office to tell them about the delay and the receptionist said, “Sorry, our policy is that if you’re more than 15 minutes late, we reschedule your appointment.” “We REALLY don’t want to turn around when we’re already halfway there,” they thought. “Still, at the rate we’re moving, we’ll get there an hour late. There is probably no point in continuing to the doctor.” Then they strengthened themselves and said, “Who’s in charge anyway? You think it’s the doctor? You think it’s the receptionist? Its HaKadosh Boruch Hu, our loving and caring Father, the Ribono Shel Olam. He can do anything and everything. Hashem can make it that we get there an hour late, and everything will be fine.” They continued driving to the doctor, singing Hakol Yachol all the way. When they arrived, the receptionist was surprised to see them. “Oh, I thought we had already canceled your appointment. Well, I guess once you’re here, I can ask the doctor if he would agree to see you. But I know how he works. He doesn’t make exceptions to the rule.” Two minutes later the receptionist returned. “I just spoke to the doctor. He said he remembers one appointment where he kept you waiting for a long time, and he feels bad about it. So he said he’ll see you right now.” And in no time, she took them to an examining room, and then the doctor came right in to see them – with the best service, better than ever!
