Bitachon Fixes Cutting Machine

Mrs. Friedman from Eretz Yisroel needed to do something in a graphics store for an upcoming meeting. The machine was not working properly and was not cutting the papers. There would be no way for her to cut the papers on her own. They kept on trying, but the machine was not working. It was broken. She started being meschazeik in bitachon and she said, “Hashem is the Kol Yachol, and He can make it work.” She told the worker, “I’m being meschazeik that Hashem’s the Kol Yachol and bezras Hashem you will see that it’s going to start working.” The worker called her boss, and the boss did the exact thing that the worker had done, and the machine worked. Chani, a seminary girl, does alterations for people. It was Erev Shabbos and the sewing machine stopped working. She did not know what to do. She called her mother. Her mother said, “Call the ‘A Life with Bitachon’ hotline and be meschazeik in bitachon.” She called the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline and heard a story of someone who had an oven that wasn’t working and was meschazeik herself in bitachon, and the oven started working. Mrs. Hershkowitz* is part of a Chassidus that has a fund that when someone’s son becomes a chosson, they give money to help purchase things for the Chasuna. Her son became a chosson, Baruch HaShem, but they told her that the fund was depleted and there was no money. She said, “Well guess what? Rabbi Golombeck’s nephew, Shimon Stein, missed his bus to cheder one morning. He lives very far from his cheder and his parents weren’t home. Mrs. Schwartz needed help taking care of her kids before Pesach, cleaning up, juggling errands; she had so many things she had to do. She was thinking that she really needed a mothers helper. But where was she going to find one? She knew that Hashem always helped her with everything else in life, so Hashem could help her now!
