Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  This story was called in all the way from London by a very chashuv Yid whose name is Yoel Friedman. He lives in Golders Green. He said over that he got back pain and went to the doctor. The doctor said that he doesn’t see anything wrong, but if he wants, he can get it checked out with an MRI. R’ Friedman called up the hospital to make an appointment. They said the earliest appointment is in five weeks. The location was an hour and a half away from where he lived. He asked to go on the waiting list for an earlier appointment, but they told him that there’s a very long waiting list. He said, ‘thank you so much,’ and hung up. He was thinking to himself, “I don’t want to wait five weeks! I want to take care of it right away, 1-2-3!” He called up again and he asked them if there is anything earlier, or any cancellations. The person said, “I see a cancellation for a few days before the appointment I gave you last time. If you want it, you can have it, but you’re not going to get anything better than that. You’re going to have to wait a little over four weeks.” He told the receptionist, “Do you believe in G-d? Do you know that G-d can do everything and anything? He’s Hakol Yachol! Just because you don’t see any earlier appointments, Hashem is the one in charge!” The receptionist started laughing, “G-d can do everything and anything?” Then he said, “If it makes you happy, I’ll check one last time.” He looked at his computer and said, “There was just a cancellation, right now, as we speak, in one hour from right now! It’s in a different location. It’s in Golders Green. Will you be able to make it there in an hour?” R’ Friedman said, “That’s where I live! It’s a few blocks away from me!” The receptionist said, “What! Are you serious? You were telling me that your G-d can do everything and anything! I see it first-hand with my own eyes!” In no time, everything worked out perfectly! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1758
