USB Found-with Bitachon

Rivky Berkowitz* misplaced her camera and a USB. She looked all over, but she could not find them. They were very sentimental to her, and she really wanted them. She was listening to the Kav Hashgacha Pratis hotline, which told a story of a yid who lost his hearing aid worth $10,000. He was in shul, and a small child found it under a bench! This story reminded her that Hashem knows where everything is, and Hashem can make even a small child find something valuable. A couple of minutes after hearing this story, a child was looking in the bookshelf and moved over a sefer and found the camera, and another child found the USB on the counter! Bitachon Story of Relaxation and Comfort

Shlomo Greenberg*, a choshuve yeshiva bochur, was having a hard time falling asleep one night. Shlomo felt anxious that he wasn’t falling asleep, because he was worried that he would be tired the next day. This made it even harder to fall asleep! He decided to listen to the song of Rav Don Segal singing “Ein Od Milvado.” As he was listening, he understood that if there is no teva, sleep doesn’t give one strength- it’s all Hashem! With the knowledge that it’s not the sleep that gives him strength, rather it’s only Hashem, he was able to relax. Since he wasn’t anxious anymore, he soon fell asleep! Bitachon Story of Mental Health Salvation

Mrs. Meisel’s* daughter was diagnosed with bipolar. She was going through many issues and struggles in school. Her mother got very down about it and her friend told her all about Rabbi Yehuda Mandel, Bitachon Weekly, Spring Hill Times, and the Bitachon Hotline. Bitachon stories inspired by the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  Mendy,* a yeshiva bachur, was waiting with his friend for a hitch. Every car was passing by, and no one was giving them a ride. They needed to go to Yeshiva. He told his friend, “You know what the problem is? We’re being Boteach in cars. Let’s be mechazek in Bitachon and start singing Hakol Yachol. You’ll see that the next car will pick us up.” The next car passed them and just kept on going. His friend asked him, “What happened with your Bitachon?” He answered him, “Bitachon can make it that it will come around!” Just like that, the car backed up, and the driver said, “So sorry, you know, I noticed you were waiting. Hashem Pays for Yungerman's New Washing Machine

Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  This story was called in by a very chashuv yungerman by the name of Yechezkel Zeev Mittleman. He needed to buy a washing machine and he knew it would be a very expensive purchase. At the same time, he needed to make another expensive purchase on a different item that he really needed. He was trying to figure out which one to spend the money on. He really needed both, but he only had money for one. Then he said, “One second. Who is the one who pays my bills? What is the thing that brings me the items? Is it the money that causes me to be able to buy something? It’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! Therefore, I’m going to get the other item that I need. But I also need a washing machine! So I will place an order by my loving, caring father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, and say, ‘Hakadosh Baruch Hu! You’re Hakol Yachol! You can do everything and anything! I would like a brand new washing machine, in excellent, perfect condition!’” A short while later, all of a sudden, the phone rang. Someone called and said, “Did you hear that someone is giving away a brand new washing machine for free without having to pay a penny? Are you interested?” He said, “Are you serious? It’s exactly what I’m looking for!” The person gave him the number, and he called up. The person said, “Of course!” He was looking to give away a brand new washing machine in best condition! Mrs. Weber’s husband learns in kollel. She worked and supported him, but recently it became too hard for her to continue working, and she needed to stop. Bitachon Story of Health and Healing

Mrs. Moskowitz* is a teacher in Lakewood. One night, her husband came home from Yeshiva not feeling well. He said he was feeling shvach and nauseous. He said, “Oh, my chavrusa just had shigella, and I probably caught it. He was out for a few days.” The first thing his wife thought was, “Oh no. Now my husband is going to be out for a few days, and my children are going to catch it.” Then she said, “One second. I don’t believe in cause and effect. I don’t believe in nature. Daily Bitachon stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.  This story was called in by a very chashuv yungerman whose name is Yossi Moses. He learns in yeshiva hakedosha, Beis Medrash Gevoah. Every morning, he always makes sure to come very early before everyone else in order to park right in front of the Beis Medrash. He brings different things along with him for certain yungerleit to pick up, and they know where he parks so that they can pick it up when it is convenient for them. He said that this past morning, something came up and he was running late. He realized that he woulnd’t be able to get to yeshiva until 9:40. By that time, the parking lot was full. He was trying to figure out what to do. The yungerleit would come looking for his car to get their stuff, and his c ar would not be in the same spot as usual! Then he said, “One second. That’s if you go with teva, with laws of nature. If you go with Hakol Yachol, that Hakadosh Baruch Hu is running the world, and He can do everything and anything, so Hakadosh Baruch Hu could reserve a spot for me!” With that, he said, “Hakadosh Baruch Hu the Ribbono Shel Olam, I want the same spot right in front of the Beis Medrash! That parking spot should be reserved for me!” As he was driving, he was being mechazek that Hakadosh Baruch Hu is running the world, and nobody could take his parking spot. As he got closer to the yeshiva, he saw the parking lot was full of cars, but he said: “Hakadsh Baruch Hu! You’re the one that is in charge; You can reserve my same spot for me!” He got closer and he saw that one spot in front of the Beis Medrash was empty and ‘reserved’ just for him!
