This story was called in by Yitzchok Aaron Sternfeld who brought his car to the mechanic. A short time later, the mechanic called him up. “Your car is ready; you can come pick it up.” “How am I going to pick it up?” he thought. “I don’t have an extra car for someone to bring me there, and I don’t want to take anyone out of their way by asking for a ride. I think I’ll just start walking regular without even looking to see if I can get a hitch, while saying to Hashem, ‘You’re a Kol Yachol. You can do anything and everything. You’re the One in charge of rides. You can have someone call out to me asking if I need a ride so I know I’m not inconveniencing them.’” He started walking, and suddenly a car pulled over. The driver lowered his window and asked, “Do you need a ride?” “Yes, I’m trying to get to the mechanic.” “That’s exactly where I’m going,” the driver said. “Come in! I’ll give you door-to-door service!” Read more: Daily Bitachon #1860

This story was called in by a Mrs. Gleiberman who had a newborn baby girl. When Mrs. Gleiberman had to return to work, she made arrangements to send the baby to daycare. But they said in order for them to accept her, the baby has to take a bottle nicely. The issue and problem was that her baby was NOT taking a bottle at all. She spoke to many friends, and one said try THIS type of bottle, and another said try THAT type of bottle. Mrs. Gleiberman tried every single type, but her baby was not taking to any of them. Other people suggested that the baby might be more comfortable if someone else – not the mother – would give the bottle. Mrs. Gleiberman tried having other people feed her baby, but to no avail. Nobody was able to get the baby to drink. “What do I do now?” she thought. “This feels so complicated. What a big issue! What a problem!” Then, she was listening to “A Life with Bitachon” – the Bitachon Hotline, and she heard that a person should never make anything into an issue or problem or label anything ‘complicated.’ Rather, a person should say that everything is easy – because for HaKadosh Boruch Hu it really is! For Hashem nothing is complicated; nothing is a big deal; nothing is hard. When a person does that, Hashem says, “If you realize everything is easy for Me, then I’ll make it easy for you.” Mrs. Gleiberman started saying (totally insincerely), “Wow, it’s so easy to get my baby to drink a bottle! My baby LOVES the bottle. It’s so easy, 1-2-3, no issues or problems; no big deal.” Then she tried bottle-feeding her baby, and she was amazed to see her baby drink it up smoothly and easily! This story has been called in from Eretz Yisrael by Mrs. Veiner. It was getting later in the evening, and she had to go to her local grocery store to buy french fries for supper. In the past, when she went to the grocery at this time, there wasn’t always french fries available. She was thinking that this time she really needed french fries, and she needed two packages. When she arrived, she saw that there was nothing left. She looked high and low, all around, here there and everywhere, but to no avail. There weren’t any packages of french fries left, just as she remembered from the other times she went too late. Then Mrs. Viener said, “One second. The other times I went with teva, laws of nature. If you come late, there are no more left. But this time, I’m going to go with realizing it’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu in charge. She started being mechazeik herself, “Hakol Yachol.” Suddenly she saw somebody coming and putting back two packages of french fries! She took the packages, paid for it, and walked out with exactly what she needed! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1858

This story has been called in by a very choshuve yungerman by the name of R’ Schwartz. He was very busy one night and went to sleep very late. He saw that he was hardly going to get any sleep. As R’ Schwartz got into bed, he thought to himself, “Uh-oh, what am I going to do? I have a lot of things I need to take care of tomorrow, and I need my strength! In the past, when I didn’t get enough sleep, I was hardly able to function.” Then R’ Schwartz said, “One second, who gives me koach anyway? It’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem. I’m going to give Hashem the list of everything I need to do, and say, ‘Hashem, you’re in charge of giving me all the koach, physical, mental and emotional.” With that, he woke up the next morning without being worried what would be, and it turned out that he was able to do everything with even more koach than he usually has after a full night’s sleep, and he accomplished everything quicker, faster, and easier! This story has been called in by Mrs. Greenbaum. She wanted to do a load of laundry. She tried turning on the washing machine, but it immediately turned off. She tried again and again, and she tried unplugging it and plugging it back again, but to no avail. It seemed like it was broken. Mrs. Greenbaum said, “Uh-oh. I’m gong to have to call the repairman. It’s going to take time, and it’s going to cost a lot of money. Do I really want to go through all that now? But what should I do, my washing machine is not working!” Then she said, “One second. That’s if you go with teva, with the laws of nature, if you think it has to do with the plug, with pressing the button. But I can press the real button, the button of emunah and bitachon. I can go straight to Hakadosh Baruch Hu and say, ‘You’re Hakol Yachol, You can do everything and anything!’ I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem!” This time, when she pressed the button, she said “I’m pressing the emunah and bitachon button,” and the washing machine started working, better than ever! This story has been called in by a very choshuve yid by the name of Shmuel Laniado. His son came over to him and said, “Tatty, my laptop hasn’t been working already for the longest time. When I plug it in, the light doesn’t go on, and it doesn’t work.” R’ Laniado said, “Let me try,” and he tried plugging it in here and he tried plugging it in there, but it seemed like it was simply broken. R’ Laniado said, “Should we get a new one?” Then he said, “There’s no such thing as ‘broken’; let’s just be mechazek and sing together ‘Hakol Yachol.’” R’ Laniado told his son, “Now let’s try again.” They plugged it in, and this time it worked! This story was called in all the way from Gateshead by Mrs. Newman. She was on her way to the airport, and she was really nervous about all the extra luggage she was trying to bring with her. “The airport people are not going to give me an easy time with this. They’re going to want to charge me a lot of money.” Then she said, “One second, who decides whether the airport people will be happy? Who’s in charge of my suitcases? It’s up to HaKadosh Boruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. He’s a Kol Yachol. He can do anything and everything. I’m just going to say, ‘Hashem, there’s only one Kol Yachol- You and no one else.’” Mrs. Newman arrived at the airport and brought her luggage to check in. The person checking in the luggage looked at her and said, “You have a lot of extra luggage. Usually that would cost a lot of money, but I guess there are exceptions to every rule. You can just enjoy your flight.” With that, Mrs. Newman boarded the plane with the best service, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1854

This story was called in by Mrs. Lepner. One afternoon she was in an office building. She was very hungry, and she was happy to see a vending machine in the hallway that sold healthy snack bars. Then she noticed that the machine had a sign that said OUT OF ORDER. Mrs. Lepner asked the receptionist if she had a key to the machine. The receptionist said, “Sorry, you’ll have to wait until the machine is repaired.” “One second,” thought Mrs. Lepner. “What’s really standing between me and that snack bar? It’s only Hashem. So, I’m just going to say, ‘Hashem, you’re a Kol Yachol. You can do anything and everything.’” With that, she put in her money, and suddenly, the snack bar came out! It was so delicious, yummy, and scrumptious that she said, “I’m still hungry. I think I need another one.” She put in money again, but this time the snack bar stayed inside, and her money came out in the coin-return slot. She thought to herself, “One second. Why did it work the first time and not the second time? Because the first time, I realized I needed Hashem. The second time, I thought that maybe the machine was really working after all. Now I see the machine really doesn’t work. Let me try again, but this time with Bitachon.” She put the money in again, and this time the snack bar came right out, with the best service, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1852

This story was called in by a very, very choshuva yungerman, R’ Chaim Levin. He needed to bring his suit to the cleaners before they closed. In his past experience, even if a customer came one minute late, the door was locked and they wouldn’t let you in. Even two minutes before closing they would start shooing people out, telling everybody that they’re about to lock the door. He was on the way, doing his best to get there, but there was a lot of traffic, and he saw it was getting later and later. After a few more minutes in traffic, it was already past closing time. “There’s no way I’m going to be able to bring my suit to the cleaners if they’re already closed,” he thought. Then he said to himself, “One second- do you think it’s the cleaners who are the ones in charge?” He began singing, “Hakol Yachol…” strengthening himself in Emunah and Bitachon. When he got to the cleaners, he saw it was already closed and locked, and the lights were out. At first, he was disappointed, but then he said, “It’s not up to them, whether or not they take my suit to clean. It’s up to Hashem. Let me try the back door.” As he went around to the back, R’ Chaim suddenly saw one of the store workers walking out of the store. When the worker saw R’ Chaim, he said, “Oh, you need your suit cleaned? Sure, I’ll take care of it for you, even though we’re closed and we don’t usually do this. But there are always exceptions to the rule!” With that, the worker took R’ Chaim’s suit, and gave him the best service, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1851

This story was called in all the way from Gateshead by a Mrs. Neuman, who had to go to a certain office to take care of very important paperwork. Every single time she had gone in the past, there were long lines with people pushing and arguments about whose turn it was. Also, the clerks were very unhelpful and unpleasant. She was really not looking forward to it. “Do I really want to do this again?” she thought. “It was so hard for me last time. It’s not my type to push and to shove and have to force my way in. But what should I do? This is everyone’s experience, and this has always been my experience in the past. Why should anything change this time?” Then she said, “One second. If I go with Teva, with Mother Nature, then I’ll probably have the same nastiness all over again. But I can go with Hashem! He’s running the world. He’s a Kol Yachol – He can do anything and everything! Hashem can make the office have no lines. Hashem can make the clerks smile at me, and take care of all my paperwork without any problems. I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem,” she decided. When Mrs. Neuman got to the office, she opened the door and could not believe her eyes! The place was empty! She thought she was in the wrong office! She asked the clerks just to make certain, and they smiled as they said in the friendliest way, “Sure, come right in. We’ll be so happy to help you.” Then they quickly took care of Mrs. Neuman’s paperwork, with the best service, better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1850

This story was called in by my very, very choshuva talmid, R’ Simcha Elefant. He was going to spend Pesach at his parents’ house in Scranton and he arrived a few days before Yom Tov. Since he needed his suit to be tailored, he asked his parents, “Do you think the tailor will be able to get it done before Pesach?” “Probably not,” they answered honestly. “We know he’s backed up as it is, and he works very slowly. Your brother gave him a whole pile of stuff to fix, and he said it’s going to take him all week to get it done. Now, it’s only a few days before Pesach, so we don’t see it happening. Nothing doing.” R’ Simcha told himself, “It really does look impossible, but that’s only if I go with Teva – with the laws of nature. If I go with Emunah and Bitachon, it’s a different set of laws. It’s a different Shulchan Aruch. I’m going to have Bitachon that I’ll ask the tailor to fix my suit, and he’ll agree to do it on the spot, right then and there.” R’ Simcha took his suit, went to the shop, and showed it to the tailor. “When do you think you can have this ready?” he asked. “I’ll do it right now, on the spot,” the tailor answered, and he began working on it right away! R’ Simcha was delighted! What made this story even more incredible and amazing was that a few more people came in after R’ Simcha as the tailor was working on R’ Simcha’s suit. The tailor told them, “I’m sorry, it’s going to take at least a few days for me to get through all the sewing I still need to do. I can only do your alterations after I’m done with those other jobs.” With R’ Simcha, who was going with Emunah and Bitachon, he did the job right on the spot, with the best service, better than ever!

This story was called in by a Mrs. Raziel. She said that she has a three-year-old son and a five month- old baby girl, and the three-year-old was very, very jealous of the baby. He bothered the baby, hurt her, and did not let the baby breathe. That’s a mother’s worst nightmare to see her three-year-old on top of the baby every two seconds and to pull him off, over and over, to keep the baby safe. When she shared the problem with her niece, the niece replied, “I listen to the telephone hotline, A Life with Bitachon, and I keep hearing stories of the way Hashem is in charge of EVERYTHING, even emotions. I’ve used this concept with all different kinds people, and in all sorts of circumstances, and I’ve seen the most impossible situations turn around. What you need to do is speak as if you already see Hashem’s Yeshua. First daven, and ask Hashem to change your son’s emotions towards the baby. Then say, out loud, that you know the three-year-old is going to love the baby and they’re going to play together so nicely.” Mrs. Raziel started saying, “Wow, look! They’re the best of friends! They’re getting along so beautifully.” She did this even though it was totally not true. The next day, Mrs. Raziel woke to see her three-year-old playing a real game with the baby for the first time in his life! They were having such fun! She could not believe the power of her positive words! The whole atmosphere in her house changed, improving day by day until it was better than ever! Read more: Daily Bitachon #1847
