R’ Meshulem tried reaching out to the person but he kept pushing him off. Before he knew it, it was already three months later. All his bills came in at once: his water bill, his electric bill, his Arnona (property tax) bill. He didn’t have enough money to pay them. He knew that if that person would pay him back, he would have the money for it. He didn’t know what to do; he had tried so many times… Then he realized, “One second, who’s going to pay this bill for me, is it me? It’s the Ribono Shel Olam! Instead of relying on people, I have to rely on the Ribono Shel Olam. If the Ribono Shel Olam wants, He could pay the bill right now.” A few hours went by, and the person called him and said, “Baruch Hashem, I worked it out and I’m coming right now to you to give you the entire sum.” He saw the tremendous power of “Habote’ach BaHashem, Chessed Yesovevenu.”
