Rav Golombeck’s Emunah Level Soars!

Rabbi Golombeck arrived at the bank with only two minutes to make a transaction, and he saw that it would only work out if he was next one in line. When he arrived, he was the next one in line, but then a fellow Jew came and he said he had to go out of town and was in a rush. He asked if he could go in front of him. Rabbi Golombeck agreed and he had to leave the bank without getting the transaction done. Rabbi Golombeck told himself, “It’s not because that man had to go out of town that I wasn’t able to do the transaction; Hashem didn’t want me to do the transaction, so on the way He gave me the opportunity to do chesed!” Rabbi Golombeck was amazed how he is growing in Emunah and Bitachon by leaps and bounds!

Hashem Provides Cleaning Help

Rav Golombeck had a cleaning lady for a year, and then one day, she told Rav Golombeck that her kids needed her, so she was going to start helping them instead of coming to clean by him. So Rav Golombeck said, “Hashem, You have helped me till now; You are the same Hashem who will always help me.”Rav Golombeck asked the neighbor’s cleaning lady if she coluld start coming to his house, but she declined, so Rav Golombeck asked again, this time supercharged with Bitachon, and she agreed.Losing your cleaning lady can be a letdown, so Rav Golombeck made a list of reasons why the new cleaning lady is better than the old one.1. His previous cleaning lady used his vacuum to clean up everything on the floor, including larger items. And Rav Golombeck used to have to bring it every couple weeks to the repairman to get it fixed, which was burdensome and costly; he thought that was just how things are. Blown Away by Hashem’s Love!

Rav Golombeck was driving his car down a busy street and all of the sudden he felt thump. When he checked, he found that one of the car’s tires had fallen off. Lacking knowledge in vehicle repair, he was so happy when he saw a pickup truck going the opposite direction, making a u-turn and stop traffic.The person who came out was a Jew, a member of Chavriam. He was able to block potentially hazardous traffic and get the tire on, 1-2-3!Rav Golombeck was so enthralled by Hashem’s love, how He made sure everything should work out; exactly when his tire fell off, a Chavriam member would see the incident and help him right away! The Horwitz* family from Eretz Israel had a bill of a thousand shekel. They did not have the means to pay it. A short while later, they received a phone call from a friend saying “”I have a extra thousand shekel, would you like it as a present?”” Baruch Hashe their bill was covered.But then a second unexpected late-fee bill came. It neared 300 shekel. They thought at first “”what a tease, Hashem helped us with one bill, just to bring us another?””Then they regained their composure and said “”Hashem is just giving us a test! He gave us a 1000 shekel for the first bill and He could help us with this one too!And help He did!
