Hashem Works Out Everything

R’ Nosson*, a relative of Rabbi Golombeck, was planning to drive one Friday from Lakewood to upstate New York. Since he would be driving with an empty car, he first stopped by the hitching spot on Squankum Avenue, where people wait for rides. (Baruch Hashem, in Lakewood and many other places in the world, yidden stop and they give each other rides.) R’ Nosson arrived at the hitching spot at 12:00, but he did not see anybody who needed a ride. This was very unusual, and he felt a letdown; he wanted to be able to do chesed and give a ride so much, but there was no one waiting for a ride. But what should he do? Obviously, Hashem had different plans. He started driving upstate with his empty car. As he was driving on the highway, he saw a Yiddishe couple pulled over at the side of the road, holding a couple of kids. He stopped and asked, “Do you need help?” They said, “Yes, our car died. We’re going to upstate New York, and we need a ride.” He told them, “Are you serious? I’m going to upstate New York, and I have an empty car. Come with me.” It turned out that their family filled the whole car! If he would have given anyone else a ride, then he would not have had room for this family!   Read more:Everything Works Out to The Tee!

Nisam V’Neflos

Rabbi Golombeck saw a big nes! His house phone is attached to a fax machine, and if they plug in the fax, then they can’t use the phone. He has two phones for the same line. One was not attached to the base because the fax was on, and they were expecting a fax. One phone was not working. Rabbi Golombeck tried the second phone on the same line because he needed to make a phone call from it, and it worked! Ayom V’nora! One phone was not in service, and the other was working! After he finished using it, it said, “attach to the base.” It did not work anymore! Read more: Free Chairs

Hashem is watching over a perfect word!

R’ Schuster* recently got new tires because the old ones were worn out. A few days later, he was driving, and a deer ran out in front of his car. He was able to make a shortstop, and he didn’t hit the deer. If he hadn’t gotten new tires four days earlier, his car would not have stopped so well, and there very likely would have been an accident. In addition, the car behind him wasn’t driving so closely behind him, so they were also Baruch Hashem able to stop in time! Hashem is watching over a perfect word!   Read more: Hashem’s unrelenting Kindness!

Es Ochl’am B’ito

One day, Rabbi Golomeck didn’t eat lunch, and he was a little hungry. His daughter Esther, who’s in first grade, came home from school at about 3:30 and went to get an orange. She peeled it, separated the pieces, and gave it to Rabbi Golombeck. “Here, Tatty, enjoy it!”  He said, “Who told you to do this?” She said, “I just thought about it on my own!” Read more: Hashem Povides, Am Yisrael Shteigs!
