This story was called in from Montreal by Mrs. Klein. She had a doctor’s appointment scheduled for a certain time. When she came to the doctor’s office she saw lines out the door. She remembered that in the past when this happened she had to wait for over an hour. She was thinking to herself, she really had a lot of things to do. She didn’t want to sit and wait for an hour. She asked the one behind the desk, “How long will it take? When will it be my turn?” The receptionist said, “I’m sorry, Ma’am, to inform you that you might have to wait a very, very long time. There are many people ahead of you, and there’s nothing for us to do. Just get yourself comfortable to wait for a long time.” As she was walking away from the receptionist, she thought to herself, “What did she just say? There’s nothing for me to do because there’s many people ahead of you, so get comfortable waiting for a long time. Well, I believe that she can’t do anything for me, but that doesn’t mean I have to wait for a long time, because I believe that Hakadosh Baruch Hu is in charge of helping me out and taking care of everything. Once I realize that it’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu, I’m going to have bitachon that they’re going to call me in 1-2-3, and I’m going to be out of the doctor’s office in ten minutes.” She was sitting in her seat, and she said, “Hakadosh Baruch Hu, I’m leaving it up to you.” Just as she said that, they called her name. They checked out her baby, the doctor said, “Beautiful, perfect!” She looked at her watch, and saw that within ten minutes she was out the door! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’.
