Mrs. Friedman* went to the doctor. He said that she has very high blood pressure. She told the doctor that she thinks its coming from anxiety. So the doctor said that she should relax in a chair, and they will redo the test again when she is feeling calm. She sat down in the chair and called the Yesod section on ‘A Life with Bitachon’ which always makes her calm. She almost fainted when she heard Rabbi Golombeck saying: “Why do people have anxiety when they go to doctors? What causes their blood pressure to go up? Because they think that high blood pressure is scary, and that it means something. But if you realize there is nothing to nature and that it’s just an illusion, then it won’t make you nervous.” After she heard this, she was totally calm. She took the test again and the results were normal!
