A teacher who taught in R’ Zechariah Wallerstein Zt’l’s yeshivah met a previous student who had been off the derech. The girl looked like a regular, frum, normal Bais Yaakov girl. The teacher started shmoozing with her. The girl told her, “Guess what changed my life. Do you know the bitachon hotline? I listen every day. It taught me that Hashem loves me, so I talk to Hashem the whole day.” She said, “It’s so geshmak! I never felt so good in my life. I am so close to Hashem and it changed my life. I’m proud that I have such a close connection to Hashem.” So, the teacher asked, “You know, did you ever call R’ Golombeck?” She said, “No, I never told him.” The teacher called me and told me, “You have no idea what the hotline gave this girl who was totally off the derech!
