A yid who lives out-of-town wanted to come to me for Shabbos. I told him he could come to me for the meals, but for sleeping he should find a different place. He said, “Thank you,” and made a few phone calls, but they each said that they’re not sure. It was already Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and he wanted to be there Thursday night, so he said, “Hashem, when I reach the highway, I want to get a phone call that I have a place to stay for Shabbos. I’m going with bitachon.” He packed up his whole car and started driving to the highway, having bitachon that someone was going to invite him. When he got on the highway, he got a phone call, “Are you still looking for a place? Sure, you can sleep by me.” It was right down the block from my house! [A Spring Hill Times Reader]
