This story was called in from Manchester, England, by a young man named Avishai Berkowitz. It was very important that he reach a particular person, but every time he tried, the phone didn’t even ring. He kept trying and trying, but he couldn’t even get to first base. He couldn’t even leave a message. There was no one to talk to, and this was going on and on and on. “What should I do?” he thought. “How am I supposed to reach a person if his phone is not even working? Something must be wrong.” Then he said, “One second, that’s when I go with Teva. That’s when I go with laws of nature. Who’s in charge of making sure I can reach somebody? Is it up to the phone to decide if it’s working, if it’s on, if it’s off? It’s up to one thing and one thing only: my loving, caring Father, HaKadosh Boruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. He’s a Kol Yachol; He can do anything and everything. “The next time I try dialing, I’m just going to rely on Hashem. The phone will ring, someone will pick up, and everything’s going to be smooth, without any issues, no problems.” Avishai picked up the phone again and dialed the troublesome number. Suddenly, it started ringing! The person he needed answered the phone, and everything went so smoothly. The person gave Avishai exactly what he needed with the best service, better than ever!
