Daily Bitachon #1710

Nissan Shwekey, a chashuve yungerman, would drive home every morning after Shacharis, and he noticed a pattern. He was always behind a school bus which made many stops, picking up many kinderlach. The bus would make over four stops between the shul and his house. It would make him wait an extra few minutes. One morning, he was in a rush. He said, “I don’t have an extra few minutes to wait. “What should I do? The bus is right in front of me.” Then he said, “One second. Whose in charge? Just because the bus is in from of me, that’s why it’s going to take me an extra few minutes? It’s not the bus driver, it’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu!” Just then, for the first time ever, the bus stopped, and the bus driver motioned to Nissan Shwekey to go in front of him! Just like that, he was able to go home exactly when he needed to, with the best service! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1711

R’ Eli Gruenbaum, a chashuve yungerman, learns in Yeshiva Hakedosha Bais Medrash Gavoha. He said that one morning he was running late due to an ones. It was already 10:15 as he got to Yeshiva. He still hadn’t eaten breakfast, and he really wanted to eat some eggs, but he knew that the way it works in Yeshiva is that they have a special janitor who is in charge of making sure that at 10am, the whole dining room is cleaned. The first thing he puts back into the kitchen are the eggs. If you come after 10, sorry! No eggs for you! He thought to himself, “If every day without fail there is a special janitor who cleans up the eggs at 10:00, so how in the world am I go- ing to have delicious eggs for breakfast at 10:15?” Then he said, “I’m going to go with Bitachon! Hashem is the Kol Yachol. He’s in charge of giving me breakfast.” He walked in at 10:15, and right when he came in, all of a sudden, the janitor that usually starts cleaning up at 10 by bringing back the eggs into the kitchen, brought him a whole tray full of fresh hot eggs and asked him, “Would you like this?” Eli took it happily, with no idea at all what was going on! Afterwards, he heard that that day, in the middle of breakfast, they were changing the light bulbs. So because they made a lot of people move during breakfast, they ended up serving breakfast until a little bit later! At 10:15 was when they served the last tray of eggs! Right when he walked in, at 10:15, he got the most delicious, yummy, scrumptious breakfast! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1710

R’ Hauer, a chashuve yungerman, said that in the Bais Medresh where he was learning, even though the summer was long gone, they still kept on the air conditioner, and it was blowing right on top of him. It made him feel so cold and chilly! It interfered with his learning. He wasn’t able to have menuchas hanefesh. He was trying to figure out what in the world he should do. Then he said, “I know what to do! I need to realize that Who is the one making me chilly and cold? You think it’s the air conditioner blowing on me? It’s my loving, caring, father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! The same Hashem that made me feel chilly up until now, can make it that it won’t bother me!” He came the next day to seder, and he felt so comfortable; he didn’t even feel the cold air blowing on him! He never had such a geshmak seder since the beginning of the zman! Baruch Hashem, he was able to learn better than ever! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’ Read more: Daily Bitachon #1709

Daily Bitachon #1707

Mrs. Goldstein said that she needed a lot of dental work. She called up the dentist to make an appointment. She really wanted the best dentist in the practice. She requested from the receptionist which dentist she wanted, and the receptionist said that that dentist is booked solid for the next six months. “Do you want to wait that long?” Mrs. Goldstein said, “Absolutely not. I’d rather sooner than later. Please give me a different dentist.” The receptionist made an appointment for her with a different dentist in the practice who was mediocre. On the day of the appointment, Mrs. Goldstein was on the way, and it was bumper to bumper trafÏc. The clock was ticking, and it was getÝng later and later. She saw that not only would she not arrive on time, but actually she would be coming very late. She called up the receptionist, and she asked her if there was anything she can do for her. “Sure,” she said, “I can reschedule you for a different appointment.” With that, Mrs. Goldstein hung up the phone, thinking, “Does she think that SHE’S the one in charge? It’s Hashem! He’s Hakol Yachol; He can do everything and anything!” Once she realized it’s Hashem giving her an appointment, she decided that she can believe that Hashem will actually give her the best dentist in the practice. With that, Mrs. Goldstein continued going to the dentist. When she arrived, she went to the receptionist and asked her, “Is there anything you can do for me?” She replied, “Yes, I can reschedule you.” Mrs. Goldstein said, “Let me think for a minute.” She went into the waiting room and said, “Hashem! They can’t help me! But You’re able to help me!” Within one minute, the receptionist called her over and said, “You won’t believe what just happened! The top dentist that you originally requested, just got a cancellation this minute, and you can have the appointment!!” In no time, she got exactly what she wanted, with the best service, better than ever! Daily Bitachon #1706

Mrs. Weiss said that one of her appliances broke. She called up the company and scheduled with them to send a repairman to come fix it Thursday morning at 10:00. She wrote it on her calendar. The day before they were supposed to come, she got a phone call from the orthodontist that she had made an appointment three months previously for tomorrow at 10:00. At first she thought, “Uh-oh. I can’t be at two places at the same time! I have to go to the orthodontist appointment, but at the same time, I don’t want the non-Jewish repairmen coming into my house when I’m not here. What should I do? They’re both scheduled for the same time!” Then she said, “One second. Who is the one in charge of when they’re going to come to my house? Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! So just because they said they going to come at 10, does that mean they’re going to come at 10? No! I’m just going to leave it up to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. I’m going to go to my orthodontist appointment, and say “Hashem, You’re Hakol Yachol! You can make it that the two appointments that are scheduled for the same time, will work out perfect, gevaldik, and amazing!” With that, she went to the orthodontist. After she finished, she got a message from the appliance company. They said that in 20 minutes, at 11:40, they would be sending people to fix the appliance! She got home in time, and Baruch Hashem, she was able to do everything she needed; her orthodontist appointment and to be there for the repairmen, without any issues or any problems! Daily Bitachon #1704

Mrs. Oretz from Waterbury, Connecticut, wanted to bring her kids somewhere. All the children were in the car, and Mrs. Oretz put in the keys and tried to start the car. The car wouldn’t budge, it wouldn’t go! As much as she tried this way and that way, to no avail! After ten minutes of trying, her children saw what was going on, and they said, “Mommy, Who’s the one in charge of making the car work? Only Hashem!” With that, they started singing together: “Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol..” Still, the car wasn’t budging! The car wasn’t moving or turning on! She called her husband to come try. He stated trying this way and that way, but to no avail! The car would not start! No noise. With that, the kids got out of the car and said to each other, “You know why it’s not starting? What does Hashem want from us? More bitachon! And more bitachon! And more bitachon!” Then they said that they’re going to play a game. Who ever taps the next person, that person has to start singing “Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol.” After they did this for a little bit, they said, “Totty, try again!” This time, he put in the key, and the car started working! Daily Bitachon #1703

This story was called in all the way from Eretz Yisrael by a very chashuva Yid, whose name is Yaakov Hai. He said that he knew of a bachur that really needed a place for Shabbos. He was looking for a seuda. R’ Hai had the perfect seuda for this bachur. But the issue and problem was that he forgot the bachur’s name! He didn’t remember who he was, and therefore, he wasn’t able to contact him. R’ Hai looked through his phone contacts, hoping that maybe he would remember the bachur’s name that way, but none of the names rang a bell. He was trying to figure out what to do. He really wanted to call him and tell him that he had a seuda for him, but he forgot his name! Then he said, “I know what I’m going to do! I’m going to realize that it’s all Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribbono Shel Olam! He’s Hakol Yachol. He can make it that I’ll be able to remember the bachur’s name! With that, I’m going to do an exercise of Emunah and Bitachon, and I’ll call the Life with Bitachon.” He called the story section, section number 2, and he heard a whole story about Yisrael Nussbaum. He said to himself, “Oh! That’s the bachur’s name! His name is Nussbaum!” With that, he was able to go back to his contacts and see that… yes! He has his number! In no time he was able to get in contact with the bachur and help him get the best seuda! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1704

Mrs. Birnhack was coming home after a long day at work. She was thinking to herself, “You know what I’m in the mood of right now? The most delicious, scrumptious bowl of salad, cut up with all different types of vegetables. I don’t have the energy and the koach now to go get all those vegetables and start making a salad for myself, but one thing I do know! Even though I don’t have the koach for it, I know that Hashem has always been taking care of me every step of my life. Hashem is the one that gives me all my needs. Therefore, I know Hakadosh Baruch Hu will take care of me.” Shortly afterwards, a neighbor called her up and asked her if she’s interested right now in the most delicious, scrumptious, fresh, cut up salad with all different types of vegetables. Mrs. Birnhack said, “Yes! How do you know? Why do you ask?” Her neighbor answered, “I’ll tell you the truth. I’m not the type to cut a whole bowl of salad for myself. I don’t usually get around to do it. Today, I was just in the mood to do it. I went around getÝng all different types of vegetables, and I cut up a salad. Afterwards, I realized that it’s a lot of portions. On top of that, I realized that I don’t even have such an appetite to eat. It’s not worth it to save it for tomorrow, because it’ll get soggy. I was wondering what should I do with all this salad that I just cut up; I don’t really have what to do with it. I decided I would call you to see if it’s something you would be interested in.” In no time, Mrs. Birnhack got the salad; exactly what she wanted and what she was dreaming of, delivered to her, with the best service!
