Hashem sends Guests!

The Berman* family’s children were begging their parents the whole week for guests for Shabbos, so that that they would have playmates for after the meal.Thursday came, and a family agreed to come, but then it didn’t work out in the end.On Friday morning, with their children still pleading, they said “Hashem, He can do anything and everything, He can make that we’ll get guests”- and the next thing they know it, they get a phone call. “We know it’s last minute, but can we come for a Shabbos meal?” Hashem made it so that guests would come! The best Sleeping Aid: Hashem!

Mrs. Robert’s* anxiety makes falling asleep for her difficult. She devised a plan to aid her in the process: She either listens to the Ki Tov Hashem news station or to The Bitachon Hotline songs and finds herself melting into rosy dreams. She actually appreciates the fact that she has anxiety because it gives her the impetus to listen to the Ki Tov Hashem news station and to The Bitachon Hotline songs. This Friday night (on Shabbos, one isn’t allowed to make phone calls), she had to devolop a second plan. She thought about how much Hashem had hugged and kissed her that day and how much He had showered her with love the whole day, and with that, she fell asleep! Mrs. Brounstein* wanted a new coat closet but could not afford one, and then house started geting cluttered. Mrs. Brounstein was speaking with her neighbor about her dilemma, and she was floored, “Wow, we are redoing our house, and we have a coat closet that we wanted to give away!” The closet matched her house perfectly- the size, the color, and it was the exect style she was looking for! After studying in Eretz Yisrael, Ruevan Davidson* returned to the famed Yeshiva in Lakewood, BMG. With Yichus, finance support -the works; his expectation of finding his zivug right away was quite ordinary. When things didn’t plan out as expected, and still being in the shidduch market a few years later, he still had his hopes high, but at the same time, he consulted a friend about the matter. He introduced Ruevan to books on Emunah and Bitachon and to the Bitachon Hotline. As he dwelled on the concepts and internalized them more and more, he realized that Hashem was there for him, like a marriage partner! A young Jewish woman, Tzippy*, asked on the Bitachon Hotline the following question: Can she give all of her money to Tzekdah considering the fact that her parents support her anyway? Rav Golombeck answered in the affirmative. He then mentioned to her a very needy family that lives near her, and that they would greatly benefit from her help. Free Gluten-Free!

R’ David Kruzer* from Lakewood is on a gluten-free diet, which can be quite costly. So, after Pesach, someone gave him a massive order of cookies, crackers, etc. that he wouldn’t be able to sell anymore- for free. He just ran out this week. The day he ran out, someone called him to say that there was someone who had a whole shipment of gluten-free crackers that he wanted to give out!Amazingly, Hashem worked out that so many months after Pesach, when his gluten-free ran out, out of the blue, he should get a call that there was another special Jew who wanted to give him more![heard by R’Zevy Golombeck] Read more: Chesed Galore!

“Give me 24 hours”

A once very wealthy, prominent Jewish man came to his Rav, reporting that he didn’t even have enough money to make shabbos. His Rav told him to give him 24 hours. A Talmid of Rav Zevy Golombeck, Moshe Shimonoff*, consulted him regarding whether he should continue working in a particular practice, considering there were spiritual challenges. R’ Golombeck advised him to quit cold turkey. With a bracha from Rav Golombeck that he would find a much better job, Moshe followed suite and left his practice, despite having a family to support. Later that week, Moshe reported to R’ Golombeck that he landed a new job, earning $50,000 more. During his daily commute, R’ Velvel Zacks* found that there was a specific spot that when he ever passed by it, he would lose reception; if he were to be listening to a shiur or talking on the phone, the phone would cut out for a few minutes. So he said, “Who made it that there shouldn’t be a reception? “Self-Esteem Boosting!”

R’ Yosef Moshe Mizrachi stands in front of Satmar Shul and other Shuls, and hands out the Sefer “Bishvili Nivra HaOlam”, a Sefer designed to help people grow in self-esteem. Seeing how much the Sefer has impacted him and improved his self-esteem and his love for Klal Yisrael gives R’ Yosef Moshe Mizrachi the energy to approach unfamiliar people and offer them the sefer, even though he is by nature more introverted, and to go around and to raise the fund for his momentous undertaking.
