This story has been called in by Mishpachas Schwartz. Her neighbor with seven children was schmoozing with her and telling her that she had a very, very big issue and problem. There was a switch on her hot water heater that that broke off. And now they don’t have any more hot water! When it comes to showers, she has to go bring them to the home of a family member, so they should be able to take showers and baths. But it’s really, really hard. So they called plumber after plumber, seeing who could help them. Each one told them, “Sorry, we don’t have that part in, sorry. The only way to do it is by ordering it.” So they decided there’s only one plan, to order it. But the company said it’s going to take at least a few weeks to get it. Now they were stuck without hot water for a few weeks, the family of seven. What should they do? Mrs. Schwartz was listening to the story. She said, “Don’t worry. By tomorrow, you’ll already have your hot water heater back to normal, already working.” The neighbor said, “What? No plumber was able to help me. They have to order parts. They said it could take a few weeks, and you’re telling me that you’re able to do it by tomorrow? Can you let me in on the secret? What do you plan on doing?” Mrs. Schwartz said, “Sure, I’ve been following many stories on a “Life with Bitachon” lately and I hear that, when someone comes to you and they tell you they need a Yeshuah, you could just have Bitachon for them. So I’m having Bitachon – by tomorrow it will already be fixed. Have no worries. Everything already worked out perfect.” The next day, her friend called back. “You want to hear the end of the story? My hot water heater is working again!” Mrs. Schwartz asked, “Why? How did that happen? What changed from yesterday, from ‘It’s going to take three weeks,’ and now it’s working?” The neighbor said, “The plumber that said that it’s going to take a few weeks told me he thought of an idea. He has an extra hot water heater that’s already broken, and the heater has the switch that they need. So he could take it off from that machine and use it temporarily on my machine!” With that, the plumber installed it temporarily until they got the new part, and the heater started working perfectly!
