Daily Bitachon #1704

Mrs. Oretz from Waterbury, Connecticut, wanted to bring her kids somewhere. All the children were in the car, and Mrs. Oretz put in the keys and tried to start the car. The car wouldn’t budge, it wouldn’t go! As much as she tried this way and that way, to no avail! After ten minutes of trying, her children saw what was going on, and they said, “Mommy, Who’s the one in charge of making the car work? Only Hashem!” With that, they started singing together: “Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol..” Still, the car wasn’t budging! The car wasn’t moving or turning on! She called her husband to come try. He stated trying this way and that way, but to no avail! The car would not start! No noise. With that, the kids got out of the car and said to each other, “You know why it’s not starting? What does Hashem want from us? More bitachon! And more bitachon! And more bitachon!” Then they said that they’re going to play a game. Who ever taps the next person, that person has to start singing “Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol, Hakol Yachol.” After they did this for a little bit, they said, “Totty, try again!” This time, he put in the key, and the car started working! As heard on A Life with Bitachon.
