This story was called in by Mishpachav Glieberman. She has a freezer in her basement that she uses for Pesach every year. The outlet next to the freezer, for the past 17 years, never worked. It was broken. They would use an extension cord and plug it in to a different outlet. Now they were using the freezer again. She turned to her children and said, “You know, every year, for the past 17 years, we always try, thinking that maybe this year it’s going to work. But it never, ever worked. Not for 17 years. So you might be wondering why this year should be different.” And she said, “You know why this year is going to be different? Because this year we’re going to plug it in with the power of bitachon. By believing Hashem is a HaKol Yachol. And He’s the only power and there’s no other power. It’s not the plug, it’s not the outlet, it’s only Hashem. Let’s all be Mechazik and sing “HaKol Yachol.” And this time, they tried again. They put the plug into the outlet, and it started working better than ever!
