Just in Time

Mrs. Strauss* didn’t have much extra money, but she really wanted to be able to help other yidden, so she opened a chair gemach. Someone called her up and said that she’s making a simcha and needs a certain amount of chairs. Mrs. Strauss remembered someone had borrowed chairs a few weeks before and had not returned them, so she was short seven chairs to lend to the simcha. She had no idea who had borrowed it. She said to Hashem, “You know where they are. In order for me to help another Yid, I need to find out where they are.” Shortly afterwards, someone called her up and said, “ I just remembered. I borrowed chairs from you, and I never returned them. Can I return them?” Just like that! Hashem put it in their brain to return it when she reached out to Hashem!
