R’ Eli Gruenbaum, a chashuve yungerman, learns in Yeshiva Hakedosha Bais Medrash Gavoha. He said that one morning he was running late due to an ones. It was already 10:15 as he got to Yeshiva. He still hadn’t eaten breakfast, and he really wanted to eat some eggs, but he knew that the way it works in Yeshiva is that they have a special janitor who is in charge of making sure that at 10am, the whole dining room is cleaned. The first thing he puts back into the kitchen are the eggs. If you come after 10, sorry! No eggs for you! He thought to himself, “If every day without fail there is a special janitor who cleans up the eggs at 10:00, so how in the world am I go- ing to have delicious eggs for breakfast at 10:15?” Then he said, “I’m going to go with Bitachon! Hashem is the Kol Yachol. He’s in charge of giving me breakfast.” He walked in at 10:15, and right when he came in, all of a sudden, the janitor that usually starts cleaning up at 10 by bringing back the eggs into the kitchen, brought him a whole tray full of fresh hot eggs and asked him, “Would you like this?” Eli took it happily, with no idea at all what was going on! Afterwards, he heard that that day, in the middle of breakfast, they were changing the light bulbs. So because they made a lot of people move during breakfast, they ended up serving breakfast until a little bit later! At 10:15 was when they served the last tray of eggs! Right when he walked in, at 10:15, he got the most delicious, yummy, scrumptious breakfast! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. Read more: Daily Bitachon #1710

R’ Hauer, a chashuve yungerman, said that in the Bais Medresh where he was learning, even though the summer was long gone, they still kept on the air conditioner, and it was blowing right on top of him. It made him feel so cold and chilly! It interfered with his learning. He wasn’t able to have menuchas hanefesh. He was trying to figure out what in the world he should do. Then he said, “I know what to do! I need to realize that Who is the one making me chilly and cold? You think it’s the air conditioner blowing on me? It’s my loving, caring, father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! The same Hashem that made me feel chilly up until now, can make it that it won’t bother me!” He came the next day to seder, and he felt so comfortable; he didn’t even feel the cold air blowing on him! He never had such a geshmak seder since the beginning of the zman! Baruch Hashem, he was able to learn better than ever! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’ Read more: Daily Bitachon #1709

Mrs. Goldstein said that she needed a lot of dental work. She called up the dentist to make an appointment. She really wanted the best dentist in the practice. She requested from the receptionist which dentist she wanted, and the receptionist said that that dentist is booked solid for the next six months. “Do you want to wait that long?” Mrs. Goldstein said, “Absolutely not. I’d rather sooner than later. Please give me a different dentist.” The receptionist made an appointment for her with a different dentist in the practice who was mediocre. On the day of the appointment, Mrs. Goldstein was on the way, and it was bumper to bumper trafÏc. The clock was ticking, and it was getÝng later and later. She saw that not only would she not arrive on time, but actually she would be coming very late. She called up the receptionist, and she asked her if there was anything she can do for her. “Sure,” she said, “I can reschedule you for a different appointment.” With that, Mrs. Goldstein hung up the phone, thinking, “Does she think that SHE’S the one in charge? It’s Hashem! He’s Hakol Yachol; He can do everything and anything!” Once she realized it’s Hashem giving her an appointment, she decided that she can believe that Hashem will actually give her the best dentist in the practice. With that, Mrs. Goldstein continued going to the dentist. When she arrived, she went to the receptionist and asked her, “Is there anything you can do for me?” She replied, “Yes, I can reschedule you.” Mrs. Goldstein said, “Let me think for a minute.” She went into the waiting room and said, “Hashem! They can’t help me! But You’re able to help me!” Within one minute, the receptionist called her over and said, “You won’t believe what just happened! The top dentist that you originally requested, just got a cancellation this minute, and you can have the appointment!!” In no time, she got exactly what she wanted, with the best service, better than ever! Mrs. Weiss said that one of her appliances broke. She called up the company and scheduled with them to send a repairman to come fix it Thursday morning at 10:00. She wrote it on her calendar. The day before they were supposed to come, she got a phone call from the orthodontist that she had made an appointment three months previously for tomorrow at 10:00. At first she thought, “Uh-oh. I can’t be at two places at the same time! I have to go to the orthodontist appointment, but at the same time, I don’t want the non-Jewish repairmen coming into my house when I’m not here. What should I do? They’re both scheduled for the same time!” Then she said, “One second. Who is the one in charge of when they’re going to come to my house? Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! So just because they said they going to come at 10, does that mean they’re going to come at 10? No! I’m just going to leave it up to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. I’m going to go to my orthodontist appointment, and say “Hashem, You’re Hakol Yachol! You can make it that the two appointments that are scheduled for the same time, will work out perfect, gevaldik, and amazing!” With that, she went to the orthodontist. After she finished, she got a message from the appliance company. They said that in 20 minutes, at 11:40, they would be sending people to fix the appliance! She got home in time, and Baruch Hashem, she was able to do everything she needed; her orthodontist appointment and to be there for the repairmen, without any issues or any problems! Mrs. Padower has a son learning in yeshiva. Before he left one morning, he told his mother that one of his teeth were hurting him. He asked her if she was able to schedule him a dentist appointment for that day. He only wanted to go bein hasedarim. He didn’t want to go during seder time. She said to her son, “I understand that you want to go only during bein hasedarim, and that you want an appointment right away. However, the dentist doesn’t run around YOUR schedule. We have to go around the dentist’s schedule. Beggars can’t be choosers. Therefore, what are the chances that you can get an appointment today? Even if you can, what are the chances that it will be for exactly when you want it?” Then she said, “One second. That’s when you go with teva, with laws of nature; that they’re the ones in charge of giving out appointments. But if I believe that Hakadosh Baruch Hu is the one who makes appointments and He’s the one in charge, then I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem and say, ‘Hashem, You’re Hakol Yachol. I want an appointment today, and during bein hasedarim.’” With that, she called up the dentist and had in mind that really she is talking to Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. She asked if they had any available slots for today. The secretary said, “Sure, we just got an opening for 3 o’clock! Would you like to come?” Mrs. Padower answered, “That’s exactly perfect! That’s smack in middle of bein hasedarim!!” With that, they got the perfect appointment, strictly during bein hasedarim. He was able to go back and forth and not miss learning! This story has been called in by a chashuva yid, by the name of R’ Avrumi Waldman. He was waiting at the airport to get a flight back to Lakewood. The lines were out the doors. It looked like he was going to have to wait a couple of hours. By the time it was going to come his turn, the plane would be long gone! But he really wanted to go home already! He was trying to figure out what he should do. Then he said, “One second. Who’s in charge of making sure I catch my flight? My loving, caring father Hakadosh Baruch Hu the Ribbono Shel Olam. If Hakadosh Baruch Hu is in charge, He’s Hakol Yachol. He can do everything and anything. Ahh, the line looks like its going to take hours? But, when you live with Hakadosh Baruch Hu, its a different Shulchan Aruch; its a different set of laws.” All of sudden, as he was thinking about Hakadosh Baruch Hu running this world, and that He’s Hakol Yachol; a supervisor called him over to the side and said to him; “Come with me. This story was called in by Rabbi Gross. Rabbi Gross said that he was going to Eretz Yisrael together with his Rebbetzin and their little baby. When they were boarding the plane, he asked if he could have a bassinet seat for the baby. They responded, “Sorry, all the bassinet seats are already taken. Besides for that, there are ten people in front of you that asked first. There isn’t even a chance.” After hearing their response, his Rebbetzin turned to him and said, “Don’t worry. It’s not up to them. They’re not in charge. We always hear on ‘A Life with Bitachon’ that Hashem runs the world, not them.” Rabbi Gross told her, “But practically speaking, realistically, they said all the seats are taken and there are ten people in front of us. So where do you think the bassinet will fall from? The sky?” His Rebbetzin said, “Yes! With Hakol Yachol, that’s what happens!!” As they were going on the plane, the one in charge came over to them and told them that he’s sorry, but they have to change their seats. Where were their new seats? Right in back of business class, where there was a beautiful bassinet, ready for them, waiting for them to put the baby in!! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. This story was called in by Mrs. Schwartz. She said over that she’s making a chasunah very soon. She needed $20,000, but she had no idea where she could come up with that type of money. On top of that, her tenant just told her that they planned on leaving that month. That meant a loss of income, because she didn’t have time right then to start looking for another tenant. What was going to be? Then she decided that she’s going to tell her family, “Do you know who’s making this chasunah? Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribbono Shel Olam. Do you know who is taking care of all our needs? Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribbono Shel Olam. Therefore, we should only chap and realize that Hashem is taking care of us, and he’s paying the bill! Where is the money going to come from? You will see, kinderlach. It’s going to start flying in! Where, when, why, I have no idea. I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem.” All of a sudden, the phone rang. Somebody called up and said, “I know your tenant is leaving. I would love if I could have the apartment. Can I take it over? If you agree that I can take it over, I’ll give you money up front in cash right now. I’ll come over 1, 2, 3.” She said, “Are you serious?” He said, “Yes! I have 20,000 in cash for you, no problem.” With that, in a matter of minutes, she got all the money she needed, with the best service! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’. This story was called in by Mr. Rabinowitz. He said that there was a blockage in the pipes leading to his washing machine, and the washing machine wasn’t working properly. His wife called a repairman to come fix it. When she told him how much the repairman charged, he realized that he could have gotten a different repairman for half the price. At first he was thinking, “What a waste of money. I know someone who can do the same job for much less.” Then he stopped in his tracks and said, “One second. I follow a Life with Bitachon. I chap and realize that where does money come from? It comes from Hakadosh Baruch Hu. It comes from the Ribbono Shel Olam. So the amount of money we spent on this repairman, Hashem has many ways to give it back. From where, from when, how? I don’t have to figure out eitzos, I just have to believe that Hashem is Hakol Yachol, and He’ll give us back the money 1, 2, 3!” With that, he was perfectly okay and fine with his wife getting that repairman because he knew it didn’t make difference anyway. Hashem would pay him back. Later on that day, his wife came home from work and said that someone came over to her and gave her money. They said, “You did a service for me. I want to show you hakaras hatov.” Do you know how much money it was? The exact amount, to the dollar, of how much they spent on the repairman. In no time, they got every last dollar back!
