Bitachon Story of Miracles

Yitzi* went together with his uncle’s family – the Yurkansky’s to the mountains for Shabbos to be by his Bubby and Zeidy. As they were driving back from the country to Lakewood on Motzaei Shabbos very late at night, they slowed down to turn off at an exit. The car behind them kept on going full speed and crashed right into them. The Yurkansky’s car went totally out of control and was spinning in all directions. They came to a stop in the left lane, facing oncoming traffic! They were on the Garden State Parkway with cars going 80 miles per hour and their car wouldn’t move. They couldn’t get out of the way! They were stuck in the middle of the highway with a car full of children – 4 kids and 2 parents. The parents, who follow a Life with Bitachon, said ‘Ein od milvado!’ The first car that was coming toward them saw them and quickly swerved away, and so did the second car, but the third car crashed into them head-on. The onlookers who saw the accident feared the worst – but the passengers all came out of the car, were checked out in the hospital, and within 24 hours, they were all sent home! The Yidden who saw the accident said that there’s no way that they ever saw such a neis in their life that people can come out alive from their car after a head-on crash at 80 miles per hour! Daily Bitachon #1820

This story is from Mrs. Golombeck. It was before Pesach, and she wanted to make a day camp for little kids in order to let the mothers clean their houses. She was thinking to herself, “Where am I going to get the kids from? Do I want to start looking for and recruiting kids for my daycamp?” Then she said, “One second, why should I worry about where to get the kids from? Hakadosh Baruch Hu is a Kol Yachol, and He could do everything and anything. He could just send them my way, instead of me having to look for them, they’ll look for me!” She wondered if she was really on that level of bitachon, but then she remembered that she heard on A life with Bitachon, ‘faking it is making it.’ Just say, “I have bitachon! All the kids will be running to me.” After thinking all these positive thoughts of bitachon that Hashem is a Kol Yachol and He can do everything and anything, all of a sudden the phone rang. On the line was a day care. They said that officially they were supposed to go all the way until erev pesach, but they don’t want to go all the way until erev pesach. They want to stop much before that. So they were asking if she’d be interested in taking all the kids. She couldn’t believe it! That’s exactly what she wanted.
