Before Succos, Mrs. Roberts* called Rabbi Zevy Golombeck telling him that her brother, who is in his 50’s was in the hospital, and that he was losing blood quickly. The transfusions to provide him with platelets were not working and the doctors were giving up hope. Mrs. Roberts wanted to know what to do.
R’ Golombeck told her to internalize the understanding that it’s not blood that gives life, it’s Hashem! She reviewed the concept and lo and behold her brother’s body started taking the platelets! He is now out of the hospital! The doctors said it was te’chiyas ha’meisim!
