Think Good and it will be Good!

Eruv Shabbos, a Yeshiva Bochur, was discussing with R’ Zevy Golombeck his predicament that went as follows: He made a mistake while davening for the Amud two years ago and he got embarrassed. Since then, he is petrified to return to the Amud.
So, Rav Golombeck shared with him three-points to work on to gather the courage to once again share his beautiful voice with the Kehilla:
1. What are you worried about? Honor; Honor is meaningless.
2. They might look down at you? When they look down upon you, it comes from the animalistic part of them, so why would you care?
3. I think you are going to do a great job because it is Hashem who is doing everything anyway.
On Motzei Shabbos, the Rav asked the bochur to daven for the Amud. Initially, he hesitated. Then, he went over the three-point in his mind and with that, he went up and davened for the Amud!
