R’ Taub was owed a lot of money. He kept reminding the person who owed the money, but the person was not paying him back. At first, it was very frustrating and upsetting. Then he said, “Okay, forget it. The point of having money is so that I should have menuchas hanefesh and simchas hachayim. Hashem does not want me to get emotionally involved and angry.” The day he was mekabel to not be angry or upset or think about it again, he got a message that the person was ready to pay him all the money!
