R’ Gavriel Rosen* went to his eighth grade son’s Rebbi to ask him his advice which Mesivta his son should go to. The Rebbi said, “I have a yeshiva that I think is best for your son but the problem is that they have between 700- 800 applicants every z’man. If you don’t have pull you’re not going to get in.” R’ Gavriel said, “I don’t have any pull, but I do have a Life with Bitachon.” R’ Gavriel just called me that he and his son made a L’chaim. His son got in to the yeshiva! People who heard about it said it doesn’t make sense, there must be some sort of mistake, it’s impossible to get in without pull. So he called up the yeshiva, they said there’s no mistake!
