Bitachon #152

Bitachon stories inspired by the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.

We are experiencing financial challenges. Our daughter had an interview scheduled for a seminary in Yerushalayim, and it required an upfront payment of 830 shekels for application and registration. My wife was concerned about the fees, and also about losing the compensation for a day’s work in order to attend the interview with our daughter. We reminded ourselves that we are doing the right thing an Hashem would help us. The very next day after the appointment was made, my chavrusa handed me an envelope saying it was his mother’s yahrzeit and he wanted to give this money as a zechus for her neshamah. I thanked him and later opened it. There was 900 shekels in there. Now they were able go to the interview with this very envelope in hand. Thank you, Hashem!
