Bitachon Kites

Avi Weissfeld* went to an Avos U’banim learning program on Chol Hamoed Pesach. Each child received a kite. He was very excited because he loved to fly kites. His cousins came to visit, and they said, “We also like to fly kites,” so he lent it to them. Somehow, in their enthusiasm, the cousins broke the kite. Avi really wanted a kite, but his family said, “We’re going on a trip now, so if you want a new kite, you have to ask Hashem for a new kite.” On the trip, they saw a family flying kites. The family said, “We have so many extra, because we thought a lot of other people were coming who didn’t end up coming. Would you like an extra kite?” Not only did Avi get one, he actually got a few kites!
