The Hertz family was struggling with parnassah and were not making ends meet. They did not have enough money to pay for gasoline for their car. In addition, they needed to make repairs to their home, and they had no idea where the money would come from. Mrs. Hertz turned to Hashem and said, “You’re the only one who can help us.” And help He did! Not long after that, she heard a knock on the door. It was her neighbor. She said, “You recently made a chasunah, and my father always wanted to give you a gift. He finally got around to giving it.” She handed Mrs. Hertz an envelope filled with cash! It was more than enough money to pay for all of their expenses!
