A bochur in Chaim’s,* Yeshiva, told the Hanhala that Chaim had done something wrong. Chaim’s initial reaction was to be upset, especially since it wasn’t even true, but since he follows ‘A Life with Bitachon‘, he thought to himself, First of all, people have no power to do anything, Hashem does everything, so the other bochur didn’t really do anything! Second of all, it’s a nisayon to see if I will focus on his shortcomings or focus on his positive traits. Instead of being upset, I was happy with him, and I was b’shalom.” Can you imagine a yeshiva bochur today acting like this? It’s off the charts!!!
