Bitachon Story #350

Bitachon stories inspired by the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.

Mordechai Klein, a bachur from Lakewood who was learning in Eretz Yisrael, flew back to Lakewood for a family simcha. At the airport in Eretz Yisrael, one of the security guards came over to him and told him that someone left a shtreimel in the airport. The phone number on the shtreimel was an American number. Mordechai told the security guard that he would take the shtreimel and track down the owner. Mordechai found out that the shtreimel belonged to a family in Monsey. He said to himself, “I live in Lakewood, but Hashem will work it out .” He brought it with him from Eretz Yisrael to Lakewood, and when he got home, he told his mother about it. She said, “Our neighbor, Yaakov Newman, travels to Monsey every day.” The complex was a nine-apartment complex, and the Newman house was just a few steps away from theirs. Mordechai brought it over, and Yaakov Newman brought it to Monsey. It turned out that owner of the shtreimel learned in the same Beis Medrash that Yaakov Newman learned in! Hashem orchestrated that no one had to go more than a few feet out of their way to get the shtreimel from Eretz Yisrael to Lakewood to Monsey!
