While waiting at the bus stop, Mrs. Levine*, from EY, noticed a bus arrive. At the same time, she saw a yeshiva bochur was running towards the bus in an attempt to catch it. But just as the bochur reached the bus stop, the bus began to pull away, leaving him behind. As she was thinking,” Oy, why did such a thing happen? All he wanted to do was go to Yeshiva!” right then, after the bus left, a very kind Jew rolled down the window. “Where do you want to go?” “To yeshiva.” “Of course, I’ll bring you to Yeshiva; hop right in!” She realized that when she was thinking, “Oy, why did such a thing happen?” Hashem had better plans for him; door-to-door service. “Make a Big Deal of Hashem’s Chesed!”

Mrs. Ehrentreu* consulted with R’ Golombeck about her predicament. Recently, she has started getting unexpected bills; as it is, money is tight, and she is unsure what to do. R’ Golombeck advised her to start making a big deal whenever unexpected money comes in, no matter the amount, deal out of it-say “thank you, Hashem, every ounce of Your chesed is so incredible!” Lo and behold, unexpected money started flying in from everywhere. One person called, “I would like to pay you back the money I borrowed five years ago; here it is.” Another person: “I have money for you that I borrowed ten years ago.” The more she thanks Hashem, the more unexpected money comes flying in! Da’as Torah-The Ultimate Compass- Part 1

A Morah in a school, Mrs. Blum* had a baby. Six weeks later, when it was time for her to go to work, she was still exhausted, and she didn’t really want to go to work, but at the same time, they needed the money, and her husband wanted her to return to work. So they asked Da’as Torah, and he answered that she should go back to teaching and Hashem would work everything out. Mrs. Blum saw a pattern that when the baby was up the whole night or didn’t feel well, Hashem worked it out that there wasn’t school that day or that there was a school event, which made it so that she could come late, or not at all. This morning, Mrs. Bloom’s baby wasn’t feeling well at night, so she needed extra sleep. And then, out of the blue, she got a phone call that a new teacher was trying out at the school, and they were merging the two classes, so she should come an hour late! Emotions are from Hashem!

At the annual family Chanukah party, R’ Avromi* always felt out of place, that he was different from everyone else in his family, that he wasn’t included in things. This year, with listening to A Life with Bitachon, R’ Avromi chose a new approach; he put his mind to the concept that emotions are from Hashem and that Hashem can give him a feeling of being included; he said positive lies: “I do feel part of things!” and lo and behold he actually felt at home at the party! Eruv Shabbos, a Yeshiva Bochur, was discussing with R’ Zevy Golombeck his predicament that went as follows: He made a mistake while davening for the Amud two years ago and he got embarrassed. Since then, he is petrified to return to the Amud. So, Rav Golombeck shared with him three-points to work on to gather the courage to once again share his beautiful voice with the Kehilla: 1. What are you worried about? Honor; Honor is meaningless. 2. They might look down at you? When they look down upon you, it comes from the animalistic part of them, so why would you care? 3. I think you are going to do a great job because it is Hashem who is doing everything anyway. On Motzei Shabbos, the Rav asked the bochur to daven for the Amud. Initially, he hesitated. The Power of a Niggun!

Mrs. Carmel* arranged with her son last night that he would come home at a specific time, and when she saw that time he was supposed to be home, come and go, and he still wasn’t home, and he wasn’t answering his phone she started getting more and more worried. And then she thought to herself, “There’s the point in worrying for a whole hour; it just drains you emotionally!” She decided to put on a song from A Life with Bitachon, and within three minutes of listening to the song, her son arrived safe and sound! Rivky* got criticized terribly by someone, but instead of taking it to heart, she heard in her mind what she hears on ‘A Life with Bitachon’, “people are just Mentchies, Fischer Price toys, and who gets insulted by a Mentchy?” You only get scared by a bear, not by Mentchies! “I see how much Hashem Loves Me!”

After studying in Eretz Yisrael, Ruevan Davidson* returned to the famed Yeshiva in Lakewood, BMG. With Yichus, finance support -the works; his expectation of finding his zivug right away was quite ordinary. When things didn’t plan out as expected, and still being in the shidduch market a few years later, he still had his hopes high, but at the same time, he consulted a friend about the matter. He introduced Ruevan to books on Emunah and Bitachon and to the Bitachon Hotline. As he dwelled on the concepts and internalized them more and more, he realized that Hashem was there for him, like a marriage partner! R’ Yosef Moshe Mizrachi stands in front of Satmar Shul and other Shuls, and hands out the Sefer “Bishvili Nivra HaOlam”, a Sefer designed to help people grow in self-esteem. Seeing how much the Sefer has impacted him and improved his self-esteem and his love for Klal Yisrael gives R’ Yosef Moshe Mizrachi the energy to approach unfamiliar people and offer them the sefer, even though he is by nature more introverted, and to go around and to raise the fund for his momentous undertaking. Rav Golombeck’s Emunah Level Soars!

Rabbi Golombeck arrived at the bank with only two minutes to make a transaction, and he saw that it would only work out if he was next one in line. When he arrived, he was the next one in line, but then a fellow Jew came and he said he had to go out of town and was in a rush. He asked if he could go in front of him. Rabbi Golombeck agreed and he had to leave the bank without getting the transaction done. Rabbi Golombeck told himself, “It’s not because that man had to go out of town that I wasn’t able to do the transaction; Hashem didn’t want me to do the transaction, so on the way He gave me the opportunity to do chesed!” Rabbi Golombeck was amazed how he is growing in Emunah and Bitachon by leaps and bounds!

With a house full of children, and all of them needing 5 things all needed at same time, Mrs. Weller* was overwhelmed. She called her mother for a solution, she told her to call A Life with Bitachon. She called, and then after hearing the yesodos, she thought “Hashem is taking of my children; He knows what my children need!; I just have to do the hand motions of taking care of them.” And with that, Mrs. Weller regained her composure and she was able to care for her children in a calm, relaxed fashion.
