Tzvi Tesser, a chashuve yungerman, was on the way home from first seder. He was in the mood of a geshmake lunch. He was thinking to himself, “What should I do? Right now, my Rebetzin is at work, and she can’t make it for me. I don’t have time to make a real lunch for myself, but I really want a good lunch.” Then he said, “One second. I remember hearing a story on ‘A Life with Bitachon’ that happened to a very chashuve yungerman by the name of Baruch Rosenstock. Someone came over to him and offered him food that he realized wasn’t the best hechsher, so he turned it down. Then Baruch said, “Hashem, it’s You Who takes care of me! You’re the Kol Yachol, and you could bring me food from other places!” Then he bumped into his friend who told him, “You know, I have the most geshmak meal I just made for myself. Do you want to join? It’s a five course meal!” In no time, Baruch got the most delicious, yummy, scrumptious food! Tzvi was thinking to himself, “I can do the same thing! Hash- em is Hakol Yachol, He can do everything and anything! Just because I don’t have time to prepare my own lunch, Hash- em is Hakol Yachol! He can do anything and everything! I’m just going to leave it up to Hashem.” All of a sudden, his phone started to ring! It was his Rebetzin calling from work. She said that her boss bought lunch for everyone. There was a lot leftover, and the boss said that they could bring home the extra for their husbands. She said, “Would you like to have some? You could pick it up right now!” In no time, he was on his way to pick up the most delicious, yummy, scrumptious lunch, with the best service! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’.
