Mrs. Rosenbaum had a doctor’s appointment for one of her children at 4:00. They left the house with plenty of time to get to the appointment, but when they got on the road, they realized that they were facing bumper-to-bumper traffic. Nowhere to move, nowhere to go. She knew that this doctor’s office doesn’t play games. If you’re late, you miss your appointment. She called the doctor’s office just to check. She said, “Right now, we’re running a half hour later than expected. We’re going to arrive a half hour late. Can we still come? They said to her, “Sorry, nothing doing. The appointments are scheduled back-to-back. There’s nothing we can do for you, sorry!” With that, they hung up the phone. She told herself, “You think I need them to give me an appointment? I get my appointments from Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam. He’s Hakol Yachol! He can do everything and anything!” With that, she continued on her way. She arrived at the doctor’s office at 4:30. As she walked into the office, the receptionist said, “Rosenbaum! Come right in!” She said, “Wow! Baruch Hashem! Why are you letting us in? The receptionist said, “I’ll tell you the truth. We never had this before, but the 4:30 appointment came at 4:00, when you were supposed to come. When we heard you were coming late, we gave them your appointment! Now, the 4:30 appointment is for you!” Hashem arranged the appointment for her at just the right time! As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’.
