This story was called in by Mrs. Goldstein. Mrs. Goldstein said that she has an old refrigerator. It was looking like it was starting to go. It was giving her different issues and problems. There was no noise, no sign of life; it simply was not working. So she thought, “Okay! It’s time to get a new refrigerator!” Then she stopped and she said, “One second. Who made the refrigerator work up until now? You think it’s because you plug it into the outlet and boom the refrigerator goes on? No! It’s because Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, is the one in charge of making refrigerators work. So if it’s Hashem in charge of making refrigerators work, you think for Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, it makes a difference if it’s new or if it’s old? You think it makes a difference if it’s on the go? For Hashem, it makes no difference any condition, any situation. I’m just going to take out the plug, and I’ll plug it back in with Emunah and Bitachon.” This time, she plugged it in with Hakol Yachol, realizing that it’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu who is in charge of making the refrigerator work.
