Daily Bitachon #1846

This story was called in by a Mrs. Raziel. She said that she has a three-year-old son and a five month- old baby girl, and the three-year-old was very, very jealous of the baby. He bothered the baby, hurt her, and did not let the baby breathe. That’s a mother’s worst nightmare to see her three-year-old on top of the baby every two seconds and to pull him off, over and over, to keep the baby safe. When she shared the problem with her niece, the niece replied, “I listen to the telephone hotline, A Life with Bitachon, and I keep hearing stories of the way Hashem is in charge of EVERYTHING, even emotions. I’ve used this concept with all different kinds people, and in all sorts of circumstances, and I’ve seen the most impossible situations turn around. What you need to do is speak as if you already see Hashem’s Yeshua. First daven, and ask Hashem to change your son’s emotions towards the baby. Then say, out loud, that you know the three-year-old is going to love the baby and they’re going to play together so nicely.” Mrs. Raziel started saying, “Wow, look! They’re the best of friends! They’re getting along so beautifully.” She did this even though it was totally not true. The next day, Mrs. Raziel woke to see her three-year-old playing a real game with the baby for the first time in his life! They were having such fun! She could not believe the power of her positive words! The whole atmosphere in her house changed, improving day by day until it was better than ever!
