R’ Yehuda from England had a very large bill that he needed to pay. He had no idea how he was going to come up with the money. So he turned to Hashem and said, “Hashem, I’m giving you the bill!” That very same day, he received a letter from the government offering him to sign up for a certain program that he never heard of before. He signed up. The day came when the big bill was due, and R’ Yehuda opened up his mailbox. In it was a letter from the government. It had there a check from that program that covered the entire bill plus much more!
