Rabbi Felder* was raffling off a prize to his class. One of his students by the name of Shmuel* really wanted it. So he davened to Hashem to win. The Rebbi drew out the winner and it wasn’t Shmuel. Shmuel said to himself, “”Gam Zu L’tova.””
When Shmuel came home, his mother had come home from a trip. She told Shmuel that she bought him a prize. It was the exact same prize his Rebbi had raffled off!
Shmuel now realized why Hashem didn’t want him to win the raffle! [Heard from Shmuel]
