Mrs. Rosenberg made homemade pizza for her family for supper. One of her yeshiva bachurim came home later that night. She thought that he would already have eaten supper, but he said that he didn’t eat anywhere. He was hungry, and he also really wanted homemade pizza like everyone else. But there was not a piece left over. It was all eaten. Mrs. Rosenberg was trying to figure out what she should do. Then she said, “One second. Hashem is the Kol Yachol. Hashem can do everything and anything! If my son wants homemade pizza, then I can have Bitachon that Hashem already has worked it out and orchestrated that that’s exactly what’s going to happen! From where? From when? I don’t have to figure it out. I’m just going to do my hishtadlus. I have a sister who lives on the same block as me. I’ll call her up!” She said to her sister, “Do you have any extra homemade pizza?” Her sister said, “Are you serious? Why do you ask?” Mrs. Rosenberg said, “My son just came home. He didn’t eat supper yet, and he wants homemade pizza, but it’s already finished!” Her sister said, “I’ll tell you the truth. I haven’t made homemade pizza for over three years! Just tonight, I decided that I should do something special that I haven’t done in a long time. I have so much leftover, and I was trying to figure out what I should do with the rest! Right then, you called me up and asked me if I have any extra. Yes, we will be sending it over, one, two, three!” As heard on ‘A Life With Bitachon’.
