This story was called in by a very chashuv yungerman by the name of Yechezkel Zeev Mittleman. He needed to buy a washing machine and he knew it would be a very expensive purchase. At the same time, he needed to make another expensive purchase on a different item that he really needed. He was trying to figure out which one to spend the money on. He really needed both, but he only had money for one. Then he said, “One second. Who is the one who pays my bills? What is the thing that brings me the items? Is it the money that causes me to be able to buy something? It’s Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam! Therefore, I’m going to get the other item that I need. But I also need a washing machine! So I will place an order by my loving, caring father, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, the Ribono Shel Olam, and say, ‘Hakadosh Baruch Hu! You’re Hakol Yachol! You can do everything and anything! I would like a brand new washing machine, in excellent, perfect condition!’” A short while later, all of a sudden, the phone rang. Someone called and said, “Did you hear that someone is giving away a brand new washing machine for free without having to pay a penny? Are you interested?” He said, “Are you serious? It’s exactly what I’m looking for!” The person gave him the number, and he called up. The person said, “Of course!” He was looking to give away a brand new washing machine in best condition! He got it delivered to him with the best service!
