Daily Bitachon #1833

Daily stories from the “A Life with Bitachon” hotline.

This story’s been called in all the way from England by a very chashuva yungerman by the name of Avishai Berkowitz. He pledged to raise a certain amount of money for a certain mosad. And he knew that a certain g’vir would be able to give a lot of money that would help him reach his goal. He was trying to reach this g’vir, but he wasn’t answering his phone. People told him, “It’s going to be very, very hard to reach him. Do you know how many people are running after him?” So he stopped and he told himself, “One second, if it’s hard for me to reach him because everybody else is doing the same thing, then I’m just gonna have emunah and bitachon that Hashem will make it that he’ll come to me instead of me having to run after him. And with that, Hashem, I’m leaving it up to You. You’re the Kol Yachol, you can do everything and anything.” Shortly afterwards, he walked out of his house, and who did he see? That exact person. And he told him he pledged to raise a certain amount of money. The g’vir said, “Sure, I’ll give you whatever you need.” And in no time, he got every last penny. The amount that he said he was going to raise, plus even more, with the best service, better than ever!
